There’s a madness, and \u00a0an insanity<\/p>\n
but very little humility<\/p>\n
for people and their rights to be<\/p>\n
resigned to humbling travesty<\/p>\n
self effacing crushed and dashed<\/p>\n
chastened till with spirits crashed<\/p>\n
they just fall forward and exclaim<\/p>\n
mortified and drawing blame<\/p>\n

for not allowing fracking to<\/p>\n
pull them down infact to do<\/p>\n
whatever Government feels is right<\/p>\n
as innocence is at the height<\/p>\n
as ignorance and wanting to<\/p>\n
expect a quiet life<\/p>\n
good and true<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
without the subrogation angle<\/p>\n
all this dark and desiring tangle<\/p>\n
this march away from sanity<\/p>\n
from peace and quiet and whats to be<\/p>\n
at peace with oneself upon one’s own<\/p>\n
on one’s land the land we’ve sown<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
we’ve hewn out of the stone and sand<\/p>\n
to hold our sanity in our hand<\/p>\n
for we are told what we must do<\/p>\n
is allow the frackers to come to<\/p>\n
our very door<\/p>\n
under our place<\/p>\n
and 2 miles down in the great race<\/p>\n
to procure the gas<\/p>\n
to procure the oil<\/p>\n
to debase ourselves<\/p>\n
how the blood does boil<\/p>\n

for many know its implications<\/p>\n
we feel the need and \u00a0the reservations<\/p>\n
we have to let these people in<\/p>\n
to destroy our world and bring on the sin<\/p>\n
of so called science of conflagration<\/p>\n
of chemicalisation across our nation<\/p>\n
gates being opened for the drill<\/p>\n
and the fracking liquids that will spill<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the wasted water from dry young throats<\/p>\n
the fracking game will sink some boats<\/p>\n
sink them yes it well might, they<\/p>\n
will bob about out in the bay<\/p>\n
we will pay the piper with our blood and sweat<\/p>\n
caught up in their fracking net<\/p>\n
their great desire to pull up gold<\/p>\n
on the violence some are sold<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
some will sacrifice what we<\/p>\n
have or have built for eternity<\/p>\n
incautiousness we see and hear<\/p>\n
all over the world it now is clear<\/p>\n
the rush for gas<\/p>\n
the shale<\/p>\n
the pain<\/p>\n
the local objections are all in vain<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
government edicts fly this way and we<\/p>\n
must accept their findings and well just be<\/p>\n
fearful of holding onto \u00a0our ground<\/p>\n
defeatist as the drills soon pound<\/p>\n
disconsolate and comfortless<\/p>\n
for the good of all we enjoy the stress<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
a massive scale of fracking will<\/p>\n
rapidly soon, well instil<\/p>\n
into our psyche how much we need<\/p>\n
to destroy to earn and if some bleed<\/p>\n
then bleed they must the earth will be<\/p>\n
torn apart irreverently<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
injected with the devils brew<\/p>\n
and some may spill out onto YOU<\/p>\n
but who are YOU in times like these<\/p>\n
when ever souls must face the squeeze<\/p>\n
for the tory toffs want nothing more<\/p>\n
than drilling deep into our core<\/p>\n
