\nto buy me some Durians
\nthat must belong
\nto the few fruits from Heaven
\nboth luscious and sweet
\nand so aromatic
\nand so gorgeous to eat
\nHe came back on his scooter
\na sack in his hand
\nand waving his cleaver
\nhelped me understand
\nthe wondrous
\nwild Durians
\nflavour intense
\nReally when eating them
\nI lose all sense
\nof time drifting back
\nto a time long ago
\nManna of the Gods
