for any love between them<\/p>\n
nonchalance had turned<\/p>\n

indifferent to the cause<\/p>\n

humbled by a pause<\/p>\n

something both won’t ignore<\/p>\n

the mother cries for ages<\/p>\n
the baby also cries<\/p>\n
scurrilous behaviour<\/p>\n
who will realize<\/p>\n
the blatant hurt within them<\/p>\n
not the dairyman<\/p>\n
all that he is doing<\/p>\n
is according to his plan<\/p>\n

milk production started<\/p>\n
the human kind will sup<\/p>\n
dress it up and sell it<\/p>\n
watch margins go up and up<\/p>\n
sell it to the industry<\/p>\n
prevent the calf of course<\/p>\n
if its male<\/p>\n
its for the chop<\/p>\n
may be a rennet source<\/p>\n

the wrongfulness<\/p>\n
is obvious<\/p>\n
to any thinking soul<\/p>\n
but the dairy is about profit<\/p>\n
about unfairness and control<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
there is no compensation<\/p>\n
only milk sales at a high<\/p>\n
the animals don’t deserve a thing<\/p>\n
for both of them will die<\/p>\n
they of course beholden<\/p>\n
to the life that has been shared<\/p>\n
the irreverence of being<\/p>\n
undervalued and so scared<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
and that humiliation<\/p>\n
will be taken to the grave<\/p>\n
scornful and despising<\/p>\n
each paltry little knave<\/p>\n
enters the great abattoir<\/p>\n
and is shocked to hear the cries<\/p>\n
rejected by society<\/p>\n
another angel dies<\/p>\n
