How many of you when travelling see
\nWhen you get to arrivals, boards definately
\nI like that idea, someone waiting for me
\nBut a few days ago, no one came tragically
\nI had got into KL at 11 O clock
\nthats when I did get one hell of a shock
\nThe Melaka taxi man decided that he
\nWould prefer to stay home
\nThan pick up me
\nSo disabled, a case
\nand a whole lot of grief
\nI mean to say really
\nIt beggars belief
\nThat someone confirming
\nthey would just be there
\nPreferred to stay home and relax
\nin their chair<\/p>\n
With the help of a man called BAX
\nI then found
\nA Taxi prepared to get
\nhimself drowned
\nin the tropical storm
\nThat now fell from the sky
\nWith a gas guzzling car he agreed
\nwhich is why
\nI got to Melaka at a 1\/4 to 4
\nBooked into a hotel
\nthough I was not sure
\nIf it was the right one
\nor not
\nas I had
\nexpected the taxi
\nto not be that bad
\nFinally found out the Holiday Inn
\nwas the hotel to go to
\nthen one on the chin
\nthey cancelled my booking
\nbut thankfully, they
\nre-instated it when hearing
\nhow I did pay
\nWhen the man didn’t show
\nJust left on my own
\nA disabled traveller
\nwithout a phone
\nBax was the angel
\nwho came to my aid
\nI just hope and pray
