they want to be clean and they do get shirty<\/p>\n
with farmers who put them in cafo sheds<\/p>\n
to dump where they eat near to their beds<\/p>\n

Bacon a product thats traded well<\/p>\n
smothered in salt and nitrite hell<\/p>\n
preserved for profit no prophets dare<\/p>\n
talk up bacon anywhere<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the pigs are treated to confinement they<\/p>\n
none of them can walk away<\/p>\n
often the sheds are full of slop<\/p>\n
and its where they live till they get the chop<\/p>\n

a pig is a natural a forest dweller<\/p>\n
he roots about he’s a honest feller<\/p>\n
but a CAFO pig knows prison life<\/p>\n
from morning till night he feels the strife<\/p>\n

often he’s beaten kicked and whacked<\/p>\n
often too many in his place are packed<\/p>\n
often there’s flies and maggots around<\/p>\n
and lots of dead piglets thats what I’ve found<\/p>\n

bacon week thats when the trade gets wind<\/p>\n
of the smell of breakfast when pigs are pinned<\/p>\n
down and strung on the hooks of fear<\/p>\n
and their throats are cut from ear to ear<\/p>\n

thats when they swing in their dance of death<\/p>\n
spluttering wildly forfeiting breath<\/p>\n
before the butcher clad in white<\/p>\n
cuts their legs off as if by right<\/p>\n

bacon week is concentration<\/p>\n
camp of vileness and the creation<\/p>\n
was made by Nature with such finesse<\/p>\n
but the murdering workers<\/p>\n
dont care a less<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
its butcher them quickly<\/p>\n
watch them swing<\/p>\n
hear them snort<\/p>\n
and that does bring<\/p>\n
tears to my eyes to watch them fall<\/p>\n
panting and dying out in the hall<\/p>\n
bacon week a \u00a0perspective from hell<\/p>\n
just so the corporates can bloody well sell<\/p>\n
more of the meat the aching muscle<\/p>\n
the poor sad souls and their long tussle<\/p>\n
to try to free themselves from hell<\/p>\n
