{"id":166,"date":"2011-11-14T21:51:50","date_gmt":"2011-11-14T21:51:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=166"},"modified":"2011-12-12T20:07:39","modified_gmt":"2011-12-12T20:07:39","slug":"realisation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2011\/11\/realisation\/","title":{"rendered":"Realisation"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"center\">Its hard to explain the realisation of becoming a nuisance, alas<br \/>\nIt can come with old age, its not something to gauge, it just seems to creep up enmasse<br \/>\n<!--more-->And what can be done to reverse it?<br \/>\nNot really a lot I can say<br \/>\nSympathy comes in short measure and besides there&#8217;s no positive wayWhen your able to stay on the treadmill and be part of the rat race, then you<br \/>\nAre accepted, for whatever reason, but if that breaks down then the view<br \/>\nis you are becoming a nuisance<br \/>\nAnd long term, a pain in the arse<br \/>\nBeing chronically ill is the bitterest pill<br \/>\nA relationship buster 1st Class!The Sufferer suffers the pain of it all<br \/>\nThe boredom, the tedious hours<br \/>\nLearns to appreciate the tiniest things<br \/>\nAnd tries to fight shy of all rows<br \/>\nThe Carer is stressed for the Sufferer<br \/>\nAnd takes on the sufferers woe<br \/>\nBut can&#8217;t undestand all the jargon<br \/>\nAnd suffers as well, as we know<\/p>\n<p>Its the pangs and the wilder distractions<br \/>\nIts the crippling flow of the pain<br \/>\nIts the time that is siphoned off, pre allocations, which cannot be made up again<br \/>\nAnd then of course realisation we&#8217;re all on our own, in the end!<br \/>\nThe meaning of life doesn&#8217;t come back to dwell on our minds it goes foward to send<\/p>\n<p>Messages out to the Universe, where the energies rampant and strong<br \/>\nWe have to protect ourselves now we are vulnerable<br \/>\nNot die at the hands of the throng<br \/>\nIts easy to cry in the morning<br \/>\nTo wash the sleep out of one&#8217;s eyes<br \/>\nIts good if we sing in the morning<br \/>\nFor then our opponents big eyes<\/p>\n<p>May pick up a daunting proposal<br \/>\nAnd shake it for all that its worth<br \/>\nBut the simple unending example<br \/>\nPut bitterness first before mirth<br \/>\nSelf pity the ditty we keep to ourselves<br \/>\nin the layers of mind we possess<br \/>\nWe must appear normal whatever our problem<br \/>\nAnd fight off the heaviest stress<\/p>\n<p>The puzzle is how we attracted, a disease like the dreaded RA<br \/>\nThat leaves you in hock to the Doctors<br \/>\nWho cannot, cure you, anyway<br \/>\nSo there isnt a case, that much you know<br \/>\nBut your Carers continue to say<br \/>\nGo through the motions of excercising<br \/>\nForget<br \/>\nand the pain goes away<\/p>\n<p>Its not true its with you forever<br \/>\nIts just you have chosen to try<br \/>\nAnd file it away, hoping some day<br \/>\nyou may lose it, we do by and by<br \/>\ninflammation why is its creation?<br \/>\nAnd why should it look back on you<br \/>\nReally its no consolation<br \/>\nIts something you have to get through<\/p>\n<p>Its all got this far and you are where you are<br \/>\nOn the outskirts of boredom and pain<br \/>\nWith your stress levels high its seems easy to cry<br \/>\nA release valve that may keep you sane<br \/>\nIts important to do it away from the gaze<br \/>\nPick a quiet place on your own<br \/>\nIf anyone asks say that your getting better<br \/>\nAnd on no account ever moan<\/p>\n<p>No matter how sorry, how sick or in pain<br \/>\nYou are what you always must do<br \/>\nHead up, smile, say you feel well on the way<br \/>\nThen people will try to help you<br \/>\nYou will go, through bouts of depression<br \/>\nYou must mull these things in your mind<br \/>\nYou will recall negative bits of your days<br \/>\nAnd lots of bits sadly you&#8217;ll find<\/p>\n<p>You will suffer the people around you<br \/>\nwhose natural appeal is that they<br \/>\nWill say go and excercise &#8211; soon you&#8217;ll be better<br \/>\nBut you know this isn&#8217;t the way<br \/>\nTorture yourself go on pacing for that will encourage those who<br \/>\nHave shown an interest and you may just suffer<br \/>\nBut suffer in silence will you<\/p>\n<p>You are in training to give the appearence<br \/>\nthat everyday jobs are a breeze<br \/>\nThe fact that they&#8217;re not never harp on a lot<br \/>\nIn your privacy thats when you seize<br \/>\nBack the initiative somehow, talk yourself through it, you&#8217;ll cry<br \/>\nBemoaning the world, what it has done for you<br \/>\nand the questions is why why why why?<\/p>\n<p>But it is your start, to your new way of life<br \/>\nAnd there are new lessons to learn<br \/>\nYou can&#8217;t be an Olympic Boxer no more<br \/>\nSo let someone else have their turn<br \/>\nFill what is left of your life<br \/>\nWith meaningful thought till you know<br \/>\nThat God in his infinite wisdom<br \/>\nHas sent for you and you must go<\/p>\n<p>Till then battle on try to understand more<br \/>\nof what life&#8217;s about and no doubt<br \/>\nYou will experience suffering, but that in itself is your out<br \/>\nYou must learn to smile through it, don&#8217;t let them know<br \/>\nTell them your well thats the way<br \/>\nThe moment you let on your bloody well ill<br \/>\nIs the time that they all run away<span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
