they farm to make a bloody loss<\/p>\n
and expect us all to pay<\/p>\n
sheep really are the culprits<\/p>\n
they gnaw away all day<\/p>\n
roots and shrubs and seeds are lost<\/p>\n
and it happens come what may<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
and the governments can’t wait<\/p>\n
to give them money<\/p>\n
habitats are ruined<\/p>\n
its out there<\/p>\n
green subsidies are handed out<\/p>\n
these Pillar 2 repayments<\/p>\n
but basically the fuel<\/p>\n
is more despair<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
we let the farmers ruin<\/p>\n
the shared environment<\/p>\n
then pay them \u00a0to make the minor changes, and<\/p>\n
a little is put back<\/p>\n
but no one sees the flack<\/p>\n
flying every which way<\/p>\n
from \u00a0the land<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n

trees and shrubs<\/p>\n
and woodland even<\/p>\n
hedgerows all torn up<\/p>\n
and the mincing teeth of sheep<\/p>\n
then overrun<\/p>\n
we are ruining the countryside<\/p>\n

Taxpayers pay<\/p>\n
and farmers say<\/p>\n
there’s none<\/p>\n

what was once great forests<\/p>\n
habitat for wild life<\/p>\n
is now a sterile land<\/p>\n

birds and insects<\/p>\n
wildlife in particular<\/p>\n
and it matters not<\/p>\n
its just not in our thought<\/p>\n
