Its a fearful place to live and die<\/p>\n
Romania remains<\/p>\n
a really dark environment<\/p>\n
to describe it truly strains<\/p>\n
the spirit and the heart, in fact<\/p>\n
for 4 million or so are<\/p>\n
on the streets just left to fend<\/p>\n
and we have to say its far<\/p>\n
and away the most sad situation<\/p>\n
for dog catchers abound<\/p>\n
employed, by the city halls<\/p>\n
that is whats been found<\/p>\n
the shelters are just slaughter places<\/p>\n
death is everywhere<\/p>\n
corpses lie, so many die<\/p>\n
and no one seems to care<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the animals are caged up<\/p>\n
and treated just like waste<\/p>\n
corruption is beyond belief<\/p>\n
even a tiny taste<\/p>\n
of what goes on not just behind<\/p>\n
closed doors but in the street<\/p>\n
is enough to get you crying<\/p>\n
it really will unseat<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the strongest souls imaginable<\/p>\n
for the evil does abound<\/p>\n
the average person seemingly<\/p>\n
sharing that same ground<\/p>\n
turn away, they do not care to see<\/p>\n
whats going on<\/p>\n
and gradually the problem<\/p>\n
grows till all the dogs are gone<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
some are killed by strangulation<\/p>\n
other raped and eaten<\/p>\n
some are murdered in the street<\/p>\n
repeatedly are beaten<\/p>\n
its a horrid scenario<\/p>\n
for animal cruelty there<\/p>\n
is really as bad as it can get<\/p>\n
which of course now isn’t fair<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
there’s money but its going to the wrong places<\/p>\n
I fear<\/p>\n
its ending up in the death camps<\/p>\n
where doleful eyes appear<\/p>\n
they must know what is happening<\/p>\n
from the curdled yelps and cries<\/p>\n
the ravaging of cats and dogs<\/p>\n
almost before one’s eyes<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the attitude of people<\/p>\n
apparently is so<\/p>\n
so many problems on the streets<\/p>\n
most dont want to know<\/p>\n
they look away<\/p>\n
they haven’t got the means<\/p>\n
to understand<\/p>\n
and everywhere you see their pitiful faces<\/p>\n
on the land<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the countryside packs of them<\/p>\n
the weakest eaten by<\/p>\n
the strongest its \u00a0so hellish<\/p>\n
our question now is why<\/p>\n
if there’s money and there’s people<\/p>\n
this, cannot be solved<\/p>\n
corruption seems the problem<\/p>\n
nobody’s evolved<\/p>\n
a strategy to save them<\/p>\n
its easier that they die<\/p>\n
and this is why the the problems aired<\/p>\n
in Romania \u00a0and why<\/p>\n
I have written this poem<\/p>\n
to bring the story out<\/p>\n
to awaken peoples senses<\/p>\n
and stop this evil rout<\/p>\n
each soul is an individual<\/p>\n
with a heart and soul<\/p>\n
and giving them such a rotten life<\/p>\n
is wrong thats not their role<\/p>\n
creation gave each one a chance<\/p>\n
and we are letting them down<\/p>\n
and in a sense ourselves as well<\/p>\n
so we must go to town<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
on sorting this and bringing back some humanity<\/p>\n
into the shared environment<\/p>\n
