I suppose he ought to know<\/p>\n
its all about hot countries<\/p>\n
and how the feathered brood<\/p>\n
wander about in the tropics<\/p>\n
and end up well half stewed<\/p>\n
and so this great professor<\/p>\n
decided what he’d do<\/p>\n
is reduce the overcoats they wear<\/p>\n
and so he took the view<\/p>\n
to breed a broiler faster<\/p>\n
with intensive feed so they<\/p>\n
grew so blood fast infact<\/p>\n
that their feathers didn’t play<\/p>\n
the part they might have otherwise have played<\/p>\n
and so now we<\/p>\n
can save time and save money<\/p>\n
and that is good to see<\/p>\n
the waste is also saved for no more feathers<\/p>\n
in the bin<\/p>\n
water fat and feathers<\/p>\n
a farmer cannot win<\/p>\n
having to dump that slurry<\/p>\n
and so to save the time<\/p>\n
has to be a godsend<\/p>\n
worthy of my rhyme<\/p>\n

but honestl;y those chickens<\/p>\n
in colder places will<\/p>\n
shiver like the clappers<\/p>\n
and if they are ever still<\/p>\n
they will catch their death I think<\/p>\n
out in the cold rain<\/p>\n
no feather to absorb it<\/p>\n
its going to be a strain<\/p>\n
the saving of the pluckers<\/p>\n
thats a big lump too<\/p>\n
I have heard of bald eagles<\/p>\n
now we have bald chickens who<\/p>\n
can wander in the farmyard<\/p>\n
perhaps have a tattoo<\/p>\n
perhaps a spot of sunbathing<\/p>\n
or whatever does accrue<\/p>\n
