those who bestowed the alchemy<\/p>\n
evoking magical energy<\/p>\n

Vivacity procured, designed<\/p>\n
to capture every heart and mind<\/p>\n
a crescendo that just intertwined<\/p>\n
and surviving this a magical sphere<\/p>\n
captivation it started here<\/p>\n
the searing heat of the Sitar’s voice<\/p>\n
really the heart just<\/p>\n
had no choice<\/p>\n
melodic incantations met<\/p>\n
one’s eyes<\/p>\n
one’s soul<\/p>\n
to confound the set<\/p>\n
colour’s embellish<\/p>\n
as sounds create<\/p>\n
an interlude<\/p>\n
as minds gyrate<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the sitar scythes<\/p>\n
through passions high<\/p>\n
the cello’s move<\/p>\n
the eyes to cry<\/p>\n
evoking spirits<\/p>\n
which \u00a0enthral<\/p>\n
and take the heart strings<\/p>\n
from us all<\/p>\n

to entice us<\/p>\n
into a dream state<\/p>\n
and hold us there<\/p>\n
just to wait<\/p>\n
where we are caressed and made to<\/p>\n
bare<\/p>\n
our souls as a great vortex<\/p>\n
there<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the amalgamation of heart and soul<\/p>\n
one’s psyche<\/p>\n
under some control<\/p>\n
calling out<\/p>\n
the audience feels<\/p>\n
the music climbs through many reels<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
mystical marauders<\/p>\n
manifest<\/p>\n
the vibrancy is bound<\/p>\n
to last<\/p>\n
the feet, the hands<\/p>\n
the heart, the head<\/p>\n
as rapidly the soul<\/p>\n
is led<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
to wonder where the journey takes<\/p>\n
toe tapping<\/p>\n
lapping water<\/p>\n
breaks<\/p>\n
sunlight<\/p>\n
moon light<\/p>\n
light of old<\/p>\n
streams forth<\/p>\n
where angelic<\/p>\n
tears have rolled<\/p>\n

we feel the beat, the soul<\/p>\n
Shankar’s picture’s<\/p>\n
we extol<\/p>\n
and through all this<\/p>\n
curtains of sound<\/p>\n
as our hearts begin to pound<\/p>\n

to crazy virtuoso stints<\/p>\n
born out of silence<\/p>\n
possibly since<\/p>\n
the age of Dawn<\/p>\n
that forced our eyes<\/p>\n
to see the light<\/p>\n
and to surprise<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the senses<\/p>\n
soaked in sensuous silks<\/p>\n
softened by<\/p>\n
cool perfumed milks<\/p>\n
the avid breast beats<\/p>\n
earnestly<\/p>\n
and beside me Claudia<\/p>\n
there she be<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
enhancing what is verve and verse<\/p>\n
the sounds that clearly<\/p>\n
all rehearse<\/p>\n
presenting here<\/p>\n
to reassure<\/p>\n
the hearts that burn<\/p>\n
for evermore<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
its so creative<\/p>\n
a waterfall<\/p>\n
of voices curl<\/p>\n
each instrument<\/p>\n
how it does hurl<\/p>\n
its brilliance exceeds<\/p>\n
all the desires<\/p>\n
in all of us those inner<\/p>\n
fires<\/p>\n
burned<\/p>\n
stronger drawn, and so<\/p>\n
compelled grabbed shaken<\/p>\n
to and fro<\/p>\n

held in that bubble<\/p>\n
that\u00a0couldn’t burst<\/span><\/p>\n in all of this we were<\/p>\n immersed<\/p>\n drawn into the flames<\/p>\n we burned<\/p>\n and India was so concerned<\/p>\n <\/p>\n such energy<\/p>\n such pleasing tones<\/p>\n this music reached<\/p>\n into our bones<\/p>\n they clattered<\/p>\n they did resonate<\/p>\n collectively<\/p>\n we did gyrate<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the whispering gentle<\/p>\n soulful beats<\/p>\n the lashing bashing<\/p>\n drum unseats<\/p>\n 2 hours of searching<\/p>\n sent us to<\/p>\n a place where guile<\/p>\n can capture you<\/p>\n <\/p>\n it descends and \u00a0leads<\/p>\n us collectively<\/p>\n to places where we have to be<\/p>\n to experience the sweet desire<\/p>\n to dance together in the fire<\/p>\n to romance a while<\/p>\n and thus evoke<\/p>\n Beltaine’s message<\/p>\n so bespoke<\/p>\n <\/p>\n to create a style<\/p>\n and to reconcile<\/p>\n an encore<\/p>\n a Monsoon where, we<\/p>\n together shared \u00a0her love<\/p>\n we felt it<\/p>\n every key<\/p>\n her passion felt<\/p>\n as there she knelt<\/p>\n with \u00a0a hint of reverie<\/p>\n <\/p>\n which sent me reeling<\/p>\n a re birth<\/p>\n with pictures taken<\/p>\n from the earth<\/p>\n a love song captivated all<\/p>\n wrapped up in her loving call<\/p>\n <\/p>\n how she captivated, she<\/p>\n with her brother<\/p>\n flowing free<\/p>\n memories of their dear Ravi<\/p>\n shared<\/p>\n none of us in fact<\/p>\n were spared<\/p>\n we danced together<\/p>\n in the stalls<\/p>\n mesmerized<\/p>\n the aisles and halls<\/p>\n India<\/p>\n was where we were<\/p>\n the Himalaya’s<\/p>\n began to stir<\/p>\n <\/p>\n those peaks of snow<\/p>\n those skies of blue<\/p>\n the Ganges rolling on wards to<\/p>\n the seething armies<\/p>\n in the fields<\/p>\n the rice<\/p>\n the cotton<\/p>\n and all that yields<\/p>\n such wonderment<\/p>\n as this was aired<\/p>\n and Ravi’s spirit<\/p>\n we all shared<\/p>\n <\/p>\n his energy<\/p>\n such wide acclaim<\/p>\n really we’d never feel the same<\/p>\n Anoushka conjured<\/p>\n up in me<\/p>\n a gigantic bird<\/p>\n who hopefully<\/p>\n <\/p>\n could fly<\/p>\n could soar<\/p>\n could see<\/p>\n could sigh<\/p>\n and take her music<\/p>\n and rely<\/p>\n on those upwards thrusts<\/p>\n of creative form<\/p>\n those shadows<\/p>\n that maintain the warm<\/p>\n atmosphere<\/p>\n in which to be<\/p>\n wrapped up in each melody<\/p>\n <\/p>\n that’s how they wove those<\/p>\n notes for me<\/p>\n we danced together avidly<\/p>\n hands clasped<\/p>\n hearts one<\/p>\n we all could see<\/p>\n the contrast<\/p>\n almost frantically<\/p>\n <\/p>\n sucking<\/p>\n in the cold crisp air<\/p>\n that apparently was everywhere<\/p>\n we had our wings<\/p>\n and we could fly<\/p>\n could see the peaks<\/p>\n below us, high<\/p>\n a silence fell<\/p>\n on each upward blast<\/p>\n as their supple fingers<\/p>\n moved so fast<\/p>\n over keyboards<\/p>\n an avalanche of tears<\/p>\n did spill<\/p>\n from an audience<\/p>\n clearly now still<\/p>\n all wrapped up in the<\/p>\n sweetest fire<\/p>\n they joined her<\/p>\n in her hearts desire<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the South bank was a joy to see<\/p>\n the Thames was looking<\/p>\n majestically<\/p>\n caressing London on its way<\/p>\n part of what was the display<\/p>\n the trees<\/p>\n the sounds<\/p>\n the purple eye<\/p>\n and the energy<\/p>\n was good and high<\/p>\n this interlude had clearly showed<\/p>\n as we took the tube to Finchley Road<\/p>\n then to the Chalfonts<\/p>\n and home by car<\/p>\n each of \u00a0us followed<\/p>\n Shankar’s star<\/p>\n <\/p>\n tired and weary<\/p>\n we reminisced<\/p>\n on the blessings<\/p>\n and did enlist<\/p>\n Anoushkar’s alchemy,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n so heartfelt<\/span><\/p>\n which seemingly had begun<\/p>\n to melt<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the majestic peaks<\/p>\n and each sweet refrain<\/p>\n that we could recall<\/p>\n over again<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Such a beautiful setting for an amazing concert<\/p>\n held at the Festival Hall on the Southbank last evening 23\/5<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The stage was set a lotus hung 2 cello’s, settled there among those who bestowed the alchemy evoking magical energy Vivacity procured, designed to capture every heart and mind a crescendo that just intertwined and … Continue reading
