Mountains of rubbish<\/p>\n
strewn everywhere<\/p>\n
over oiled seabird<\/p>\n
and some despair<\/p>\n
plastic and paper<\/p>\n
and much else besides<\/p>\n
all swept into the cove<\/p>\n
on the back of the tides<\/p>\n
fueled by the wind<\/p>\n
and the waves all can see<\/p>\n
the torment of \u00a0torrents<\/p>\n
and where we all be<\/p>\n
exchanging the coast<\/p>\n
for whats most on our mind<\/p>\n
the extent of the rubbish<\/p>\n
that we’ve left behind<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
flotsam and jetsum<\/p>\n
its just everywhere<\/p>\n
we treat the ocean<\/p>\n
like we are not aware<\/p>\n
its inhabitants suffer<\/p>\n
immeasurably so<\/p>\n
by the wires and the nets<\/p>\n
and the oil as you know<\/p>\n
radioactivity and PCB’s<\/p>\n
the flame retardent’s<\/p>\n
we are on our knees<\/p>\n
nobody wants this<\/p>\n
its never fair<\/p>\n
it just goes to show<\/p>\n
because we \u00a0dont care<\/p>\n
and no one wants to know<\/p>\n
