no one to care for them<\/p>\n
it does sound a lot of old rot<\/p>\n

but it, bloody well \u00a0happens<\/p>\n
fate’s<\/p>\n
‘funny like that<\/p>\n
and what would become of your pets<\/p>\n
one minute happy as sand boys in shit<\/p>\n
and the next<\/p>\n
who knows lots of real debts<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
out on the street<\/p>\n
no one to feed them<\/p>\n
no one to care for them<\/p>\n
would they understand<\/p>\n
when they want their meat<\/p>\n
what is going \u00a0to happen<\/p>\n
will they run away<\/p>\n
its never \u00a0grand<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
live in the garden<\/p>\n
whose going to pay?<\/p>\n
there is no one \u00a0around<\/p>\n
and its every day<\/p>\n
the shelter is where<\/p>\n
they may end up<\/p>\n
on a wing and prayer<\/p>\n
in the pound<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
they just may hide somewhere<\/p>\n
wondering who<\/p>\n
might take them in<\/p>\n
2 old cats<\/p>\n
I mean who<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
would take on my cast offs<\/p>\n
now that I’m gone<\/p>\n
where the sun doesn’t shine<\/p>\n
and perhaps never shone<\/p>\n
and so you must think on it<\/p>\n
make arrangements before<\/p>\n
you trip over the cats<\/p>\n
and lie dead on the floor<\/p>\n

for then its too late<\/p>\n
