\u00a0they see\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n he’s standing up<\/p>\n but clearly he’s \u00a0in pain<\/p>\n it seemed to me<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n by the time the trapper got to him<\/span><\/p>\n he was laying on his side<\/p>\n the trap had caught him by the foot<\/span><\/p>\n locked tight on his stride<\/p>\n <\/p>\n he had \u00a0a splendid colour<\/p>\n but a bit of mange he thought<\/p>\n its all about the fur they wear<\/p>\n for different shades are bought<\/p>\n <\/p>\n to me to trap an animal<\/p>\n that lives in its own domain<\/p>\n that hasn’t travelled far away<\/p>\n from where it was born<\/p>\n does gain<\/p>\n <\/p>\n much it seems in trappers minds<\/span><\/p>\n they observe a lot, and say<\/p>\n as this wolf came to down grief<\/p>\n of course it had to pay<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the problem for these hunters<\/p>\n is they have lost track of it all<\/p>\n how just one death can change things<\/p>\n the environment on call<\/p>\n <\/p>\n one predator, lost off the scene<\/p>\n makes a difference<\/p>\n to so much<\/p>\n and several lost to guns or bows<\/p>\n is really bound to touch<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the \u00a0trees the forest everything<\/p>\n the birds the insects too<\/p>\n but hunters are the ignorant ones<\/p>\n and we all pay \u00a0that is true<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the fur trade<\/p>\n takes its skins and acts<\/p>\n regardless of us all<\/p>\n they steal the bounty<\/p>\n of wild life<\/p>\n the retaliatory call<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n there was nothing it could do<\/span><\/p>\n he spoke of how they can kill the deer<\/p>\n and other rodents too<\/p>\n they are clinical about it<\/p>\n its what they have to do<\/p>\n they compete with the hunters<\/p>\n #and so get strife from them<\/p>\n and also from the hunters<\/p>\n the boys from bethlehem<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" They talk of death so casually and eye \u00a0the first wolf \u00a0they see\u00a0 he’s standing up but clearly he’s \u00a0in pain it seemed to me by the time the trapper got to him he was laying on his … Continue reading
