the street is full of vehicles<\/span><\/p>\n there’s people passing by<\/p>\n we are ranting to the world<\/p>\n some may wonder why<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Harvey Nicholls thinks its right<\/p>\n to import clothes with fur<\/p>\n the dead bodies of sweet animals<\/p>\n who of course once were<\/p>\n <\/p>\n alive and living peacefully<\/p>\n where they were told to be<\/p>\n in the forest on the plains<\/p>\n all of them were free<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n then some blasted ugly<\/p>\n left a \u00a0leg hold trap<\/p>\n and this wild soul was captured<\/p>\n had to take that rap<\/p>\n <\/p>\n it smashed through its bones rapidly<\/span><\/p>\n it died a violent death<\/p>\n screaming to the sky above<\/p>\n fighting hard for breath<\/p>\n <\/p>\n it left behind its lady<\/span><\/p>\n it left behind its child<\/p>\n its felt the pang of evil<\/p>\n that drives an angel wild<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I put it to the passers by<\/p>\n why they wear dead skin<\/p>\n those wearing it<\/p>\n looked ignorant<\/p>\n as ignorant as sin<\/p>\n <\/p>\n pale they looked away from me<\/p>\n they didn’t wish to hear<\/p>\n they didn’t want a leaflet even<\/p>\n so it did appear<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n I sat outside the store I did<\/span><\/p>\n ranting on my megaphone<\/p>\n folowing Robert’s clarion calls<\/p>\n all the words we each had known<\/p>\n <\/p>\n watching people come and go<\/p>\n wearing fur up and below<\/p>\n clearly some dont want to know<\/p>\n they think that I’m a so and so<\/p>\n <\/p>\n protesting on the street today<\/p>\n telling those who walk this way<\/p>\n animals were born to be<\/p>\n living in their skin you see<\/p>\n <\/p>\n human beings come along<\/p>\n trapping wild ones which is wrong<\/p>\n stripping off their skin so they<\/p>\n can stitch it into clothes today<\/p>\n <\/p>\n there are materials all around<\/p>\n that come from hemp and cotton<\/span><\/p>\n pound<\/p>\n for pound<\/p>\n much better than<\/p>\n the animals skin<\/p>\n much prettier too<\/p>\n and much less sin outside the store<\/p>\n Harvey Nicholls I implore<\/p>\n why \u00a0do you \u00a0deal in dead bodies for<\/p>\n profit based on blood and gore<\/p>\n it can’t make sense<\/p>\n to draw this stuff<\/p>\n so negative<\/p>\n we’ve had enough<\/p>\n <\/p>\n surely by now the message you<\/p>\n are hearing is what you must do<\/p>\n is stop these imports and let sense prevail<\/p>\n accept the facts<\/p>\n we do not fail<\/p>\n <\/p>\n we wont give up<\/p>\n we wont back down<\/p>\n whilst you sell fur<\/p>\n we shall be in town<\/p>\n its up to you to say okay<\/p>\n we agree<\/p>\n to all you say<\/p>\n cruelty is sick I know<\/p>\n its not like a haircut<\/p>\n its a bad show<\/p>\n they die in abject agony<\/p>\n stripped alive for all to see<\/p>\n imagine the pain<\/p>\n it drives them sick<\/p>\n we really ought to miss this trick<\/p>\n <\/p>\n its not as if you need profit that bad<\/p>\n that really you have to be awfully sad<\/p>\n stripping the souls down to the bone<\/p>\n these have feelings<\/p>\n and they moan<\/p>\n and they cry and they bleed<\/p>\n and they die<\/p>\n the die indeed<\/p>\n #<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n to make a profir<\/p>\n profit is that all<\/p>\n Hav<\/p>\n rvey Nicholls be ashamed<\/p>\n yes of course yes you are blames<\/p>\n selling carto loads to these people<\/p>\n some who did not know<\/p>\n some who did not care<\/p>\n some are very rare<\/p>\n <\/p>\n today<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Standing on the pavement outside your great store watching \u00a0your security men open and shut the door I have got my megaphone Robert’s here with me we have got our banners up its how it has to be … Continue reading
