They are the 4th most intelligent<\/p>\n
animal, they<\/p>\n
are clean, very clean<\/p>\n
they don’t sweat<\/p>\n
so they pay<\/p>\n
a very high price<\/p>\n
when they are kept indoors<\/p>\n
they get rather hot<\/p>\n
and on those dank floors<\/p>\n
get filthy they hate this<\/p>\n
they dump far away<\/p>\n
and they talk a lot really<\/p>\n
sounders they say<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
but in these vast CAFO’s<\/p>\n
and gestation crates<\/p>\n
its prison solitary confinement<\/p>\n
awaits<\/p>\n
they cannot turn around<\/p>\n
they must sleep where they mess<\/p>\n
they are sick to their souls<\/p>\n
and are in such distress<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
some look at the pig<\/p>\n
and think bacon<\/p>\n
some look at the pig<\/p>\n
and think more<\/p>\n
spare ribs and sausage<\/p>\n
and perhaps apple sauce<\/p>\n
but think I just want<\/p>\n
you to think more<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
they are wonderful thoughtful and caring<\/p>\n
they are clean and intelligent souls<\/p>\n
we keep them in vast sheds<\/p>\n
but they like the forest<\/p>\n
there’s a lot going on in their heads<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
we humans are terribly ignorant<\/p>\n
for pigs have some bright good ideas<\/p>\n
they can recognize faces<\/p>\n
and go through their paces<\/p>\n
but like us the pig has its fears<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
it hates to be hot in a big shed<\/p>\n
it hates to dump where it does sleep<\/p>\n
it hates all the torture and slapping around<\/p>\n
it gets from the trolls that now creep<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
around these great sheds<\/p>\n
supposedly tending to them<\/p>\n
but in fact<\/p>\n
they are slapping them kicking them<\/p>\n
torturing the piglets<\/p>\n
hoping that boars might react<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Today is pigs day<\/p>\n
so more now will pay<\/p>\n
pigs get a hard time alas<\/p>\n
they are tortured and murdered<\/p>\n
and scalded and ruptured<\/p>\n
and all of this really on mass<\/p>\n
