money is the key<\/p>\n
and some will go to any lengths<\/p>\n
to win or at least to be<\/p>\n

and we have a living breathing<\/p>\n
soul a horse, to think about<\/p>\n
it has a heart it has a soul<\/p>\n
of that there’s little doubt<\/p>\n
the sort of \u00a0heavy running<\/p>\n
they really have to do<\/p>\n
put untold pressure on their<\/p>\n
bones and joints<\/p>\n
just to get through<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
without the \u00a0drugs and hormones<\/p>\n
seemingly its hard<\/p>\n
enhancing drugs apparently<\/p>\n
are injected now to guard<\/p>\n
against all sorts of happenings<\/p>\n
and the horses take it bad<\/p>\n
their feet and legs are damaged<\/p>\n
it really now is sad<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
some \u00a0jockeys show contempt for them<\/p>\n
some \u00a0trainers even more<\/p>\n
and so abuse is happening<\/p>\n
of that Peta is sure<\/p>\n
in the US every single week<\/p>\n
24 horses die<\/p>\n
thats 24 souls<\/p>\n
just perish<\/p>\n
we have to ask now why<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
pain masking drugs<\/p>\n
are given<\/p>\n
performance enhancers too<\/p>\n
to speed up their metabolism<\/p>\n
injections not a few<\/p>\n
all the time they are getting them<\/p>\n
and that’s despite damage too<\/p>\n
so the horses have to run with injuries<\/p>\n
which they shouldn’t do<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
some come back from their races<\/p>\n
crippled<\/p>\n
no wall no Z bars, they<\/p>\n
the pain must be excruciating<\/p>\n
just walking, they say<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
is awful for those animals<\/p>\n
so to race well, its abuse<\/p>\n
the industry just closes ranks<\/p>\n
and thinks up an excuse<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the bottom line is agony<\/p>\n
and unbelievable pain<\/p>\n
horses feel it in their legs<\/p>\n
all that extra strain<\/p>\n
the bones develop and take time<\/p>\n
4 years or so before<\/p>\n
really they can take the stress<\/p>\n
and strain and thats the score<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Horse racing is a business<\/p>\n
the horses all they are<\/p>\n
is commodities<\/p>\n
they are expendable<\/p>\n
and that sadly is sure<\/p>\n
fired in what is happening<\/p>\n
and why so many die<\/p>\n
or end up in the knackers yard<\/p>\n
