Robert’s voice we heard it<\/p>\n
50 yards or so, from where<\/p>\n
the Japanese embassy<\/p>\n
clad \u00a0in its vile \u00a0curtains of despair<\/p>\n

billowing plastic sheeting<\/p>\n
forlornly hung and blew<\/p>\n
as a group of about 40<\/p>\n
or so came into view<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
its was cold<\/p>\n
a brisk wind<\/p>\n
blowing \u00a0northwards<\/p>\n
right into our face<\/p>\n
it tousled our hair<\/span><\/p>\n and got through<\/p>\n foot wear<\/p>\n and apparently would chase<\/p>\n <\/p>\n and \u00a0heighten the fact<\/span><\/p>\n our \u00a0toes were possibly<\/p>\n vulnerable<\/p>\n today<\/p>\n whether we were<\/p>\n chanting<\/p>\n the frosty climes<\/p>\n were bound to make their play<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n the embassy, staff they<\/span><\/p>\n stayed behind the met in yellow they<\/p>\n observing, taking photographs<\/p>\n but some did walk away<\/p>\n the various megaphones<\/p>\n lifted the sound<\/p>\n into the light of day<\/span><\/p>\n we were keeping \u00a0up the shindig<\/p>\n really all the way<\/p>\n <\/p>\n taking turns to lead \u00a0the pack<\/p>\n the family chorus rang<\/p>\n and none of them<\/p>\n failed the attack<\/p>\n their moral fibre<\/p>\n gang<\/p>\n they belted it out<\/p>\n they never gave up<\/p>\n everyone there I’d say<\/p>\n was adamant and passionate<\/p>\n all of them today<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n and taiji was clearly omnipresent<\/p>\n and, a vast \u00a0array<\/p>\n of dolphins<\/p>\n placards<\/p>\n strung along<\/p>\n Piccadilly<\/p>\n the south side<\/p>\n all the way<\/p>\n <\/p>\n where I felt we did belong<\/p>\n and where we could confide<\/p>\n <\/p>\n we really were quite vocal<\/p>\n the megaphone brigade<\/p>\n were out in force amongst us<\/p>\n a pretty powerful aid<\/p>\n looking towards the embassy<\/span><\/p>\n where there were \u00a0Japanese<\/p>\n waiting kind of nonchalantly<\/p>\n clearly not at ease<\/p>\n <\/p>\n it must be foreign to them<\/p>\n to hear time and again<\/p>\n activists demonstrating<\/p>\n some clearly showing pain<\/p>\n and there I thought<\/p>\n a chain reaction<\/p>\n the police appeared subdued<\/p>\n really intimidating<\/p>\n one or two quite rude<\/p>\n <\/p>\n grimacing they<\/p>\n must have felt the needle<\/p>\n creeping down the lines<\/p>\n and they really were not helping<\/p>\n matters I don’t think<\/p>\n pushing our fellow activists<\/p>\n just signs<\/p>\n <\/p>\n chant after chant<\/span><\/p>\n was heard above<\/p>\n the traffic<\/p>\n and the noise<\/p>\n the tree lines at the back of us<\/p>\n fanlike showing poise<\/p>\n rippling, the fluffy bits<\/p>\n sailing down like snow<\/p>\n although the sun was struggling<\/p>\n to really try to show<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the icy wind was blowing<\/p>\n it was, one of those days<\/p>\n when you really needed that extra coat<\/p>\n to be comfortable and praise<\/p>\n the goddess it was Spring arriving<\/p>\n as she tends to do<\/p>\n one day sitting in outside weather<\/p>\n the next, winter on view<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The dolphins must have heard\u00a0us\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n in the ether of the day<\/p>\n in the psyche of the moment<\/p>\n really the raucous way<\/p>\n we kept the incessant<\/p>\n chanting going<\/p>\n despite our aching throats<\/p>\n the police seemed a bit cagey<\/span><\/p>\n an insinuation floats<\/p>\n I thought they were unnerved<\/p>\n as well<\/p>\n their feet would be frozen too<\/p>\n but you can never ever tell<\/p>\n what the corporate lot will do<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I’m not sure just a different<\/p>\n feel coming off today<\/p>\n but they stayed within the confines<\/p>\n of the embassy doorway<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I have to wonder<\/p>\n really<\/p>\n what goes on in their minds<\/p>\n the barrage of strong sentiment<\/p>\n I suppose it kind of finds<\/p>\n its way in to their aura<\/p>\n and the japanese as well<\/p>\n “Blood on your hands<\/p>\n “Blood money”<\/p>\n its sort of straight from hell<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Taiji, must be reflecting<\/p>\n when its name is shouted to<\/p>\n the heaven thousands of miles away<\/p>\n which is what we do<\/p>\n it is a an ugly secret<\/p>\n a surfeit of dolphin flesh<\/p>\n laden with many toxins<\/p>\n peculiarly fresh<\/p>\n <\/p>\n some sold off to Sea parks<\/p>\n to be struggling in some tank<\/p>\n the majority slaughtered mercilessly<\/p>\n which really has to rank<\/p>\n highly in the annals of the<\/p>\n evil books of old<\/p>\n presenting total torture<\/p>\n expressed evil<\/p>\n oft untold<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the activists were thoughtful<\/p>\n they came together and<\/p>\n showed that they mean’t business<\/p>\n and that they did understand<\/p>\n the importance of just being<\/p>\n like a family like a pod<\/p>\n not giving up on<\/p>\n what the task was<\/p>\n which was not so odd<\/p>\n <\/p>\n clearly we were all aware<\/p>\n and the japanese were too<\/p>\n that we were deadly serious<\/p>\n and we were all through<\/p>\n none of us will give up on this<\/p>\n quest to save the souls<\/p>\n who otherwise<\/p>\n will be massacred<\/p>\n by this ugly band of trolls<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the demo went down very well<\/p>\n I thought significantly so<\/p>\n small but very powerful<\/p>\n and everyone will know<\/p>\n the name Taiji<\/p>\n its on the lips<\/p>\n of others and I am sure<\/p>\n the karmic debts are accruing<\/p>\n like they never have before<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
