{"id":150,"date":"2011-11-14T21:32:50","date_gmt":"2011-11-14T21:32:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=150"},"modified":"2011-11-14T21:32:50","modified_gmt":"2011-11-14T21:32:50","slug":"unbearable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2011\/11\/unbearable\/","title":{"rendered":"Unbearable"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"center\">In this dark place, where I am, in<br \/>\nthis crush cage<br \/>\na page,<!--more--> in my life closes down on me<br \/>\nA space where ugly demons come into my world<br \/>\ngreat snapping teeth that bite down frantically<br \/>\nHead first down a one way shaft<br \/>\nA maelstrom of lost souls<br \/>\nMy tears have soaked the faeces ridden floor<br \/>\nand all my goals<br \/>\nThe dreams I had of wildness<br \/>\namongst the thickets where<br \/>\nI could lay and meditate<br \/>\nIn the morning air<br \/>\nEvery cave I visited, every hollow tree<br \/>\nThat big rock I could scratch on<br \/>\nThey all belonged to me<br \/>\nThe basic day to day routine of my life and my way<br \/>\nMy equilibrium came about, on that quite special day<br \/>\nWhen they came for me<br \/>\nThe men with ropes<br \/>\nA box, a truck<br \/>\nand assorted hopes<br \/>\nThe crush cage, harvesting<br \/>\ninfections, pain<br \/>\nand would I see my cub again?<\/p>\n<p>My fistula oh dear I can&#8217;t describe just how<br \/>\nit felt<br \/>\nIt bleeds and maggots like to nibble<br \/>\nAnd there&#8217;s a massive welt<br \/>\nit pains me so to try to keep<br \/>\nthe infection under tow<br \/>\nEvery single second I wish<br \/>\nthat it would go<br \/>\nbut it was total torture morning noon and night<br \/>\nNo future just this purgatory<br \/>\nand this cannot be right<\/p>\n<p>My little prince a royal right regent fellow<br \/>\nI have to change, it can&#8217;t go on no more<br \/>\nI summoned all the strength within my body<br \/>\nand broke out of the cage, yea it was war<br \/>\nI ran into the men that held my baby<br \/>\nLike whimpering sprites they dropped him and were gone<br \/>\nI crushed the little fellow, putting him, out of his misery<br \/>\nAnd there he lay he died there yes upon<br \/>\nThe floor, blood spilling out of him along with drops of bile<br \/>\nStaring up to heaven I&#8217;m sure he&#8217;s there already<br \/>\nPlaying jumping doing things in style.<\/p>\n<p>I scared the shit out of the chinese workers<br \/>\nPaid a pittance, to serve the devil well<br \/>\nHead down I ran into the wall bashed my brains out on that wall<br \/>\nBile running out of me too as I fell<br \/>\nStill breathing just about,a fit of panting<br \/>\nsharp the men came running to my side<br \/>\nI growled a growl from deep within my being<br \/>\nand on that filthy floor lay down and died<\/p>\n<p>Now we&#8217;re scampering in the forest up in Heaven<br \/>\nIn a world where only animals now are<br \/>\nAbove us in the sky are stars and simple diadems<br \/>\nBut human beings no their very far<br \/>\naway from us, the earthlings we&#8217;re kept separate<br \/>\nFor evil souls can never track us here<br \/>\nWe sufferred once our lives so racked with<br \/>\nagony<br \/>\nSo we&#8217;re guaranteed a life of peace and cheer<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
