of wild souls<\/p>\n

the raccoon doesn’t get killed<\/p>\n
so whats it all about<\/p>\n
it illustrates the perversion<\/p>\n
of \u00a0what hunting is<\/p>\n
I doubt<\/p>\n
they even stopped to contemplate<\/p>\n
the rigour and the pain<\/p>\n
the stress it causes to a wild soul<\/p>\n
trapped<\/p>\n
its the disdain<\/p>\n
of putting a frightened earthling<\/p>\n
into a metal cage<\/p>\n
the object of the exercise<\/p>\n
to drive the dogs to rage<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
to tear around and growl and bark<\/p>\n
to violate and scare<\/p>\n
its menacing, its ominousness<\/p>\n
its threatful and unfair<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
this is a feral animal<\/p>\n
trapped and in a cage<\/p>\n
the raccoon is very adaptable<\/p>\n
but would find it hard to gauge<\/p>\n
the severity of the moment<\/p>\n
it intimidates and shocks<\/p>\n
its a challenge to their being<\/p>\n
humanity unlocks<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
malevolent intention<\/p>\n
blood thirstiness for we<\/p>\n
can hear those raging dogs<\/p>\n
their base ferocity<\/p>\n
as such the \u00a0worst intentions<\/p>\n
will be picked up and we<\/p>\n
want to pass a bill to let this<\/p>\n
happen tragically<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
to legitimize feral trapping<\/p>\n
of live raccoons as bait<\/p>\n
for sporting competitions<\/p>\n
I just cannot relate<\/p>\n
to people who would do this<\/p>\n
to another living soul<\/p>\n
who has as much right<\/p>\n
to be where it was put<\/p>\n
in its den or in its hole<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
if its opportunistic<\/p>\n
it has a mind to feel<\/p>\n
and being dragged across a field<\/p>\n
how would that appeal<\/p>\n
its barbaric even<\/p>\n
to contemplate<\/p>\n
the rigour of that scene<\/p>\n
it smacks of a<\/p>\n
malfeasance<\/p>\n
and of course its extremely mean<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
game animals<\/p>\n
sport hunting<\/p>\n
this vile terminology<\/p>\n
is speaking of a created soul<\/p>\n
with a place in life<\/p>\n
the key<\/p>\n
issue here<\/p>\n
its habitat<\/p>\n
its being lost to those<\/p>\n
who move in<\/p>\n
and expect wild souls<\/p>\n
to go the way of crows<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
we also must remember<\/p>\n
wild feral souls can be<\/p>\n
a risk, to the canine tribe<\/p>\n
diseases they can free<\/p>\n
distemper<\/p>\n
parvovirus<\/p>\n
rabies it can be<\/p>\n
a risk and we must<\/p>\n
understand<\/p>\n
the true complexity<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
That animals will be set free<\/p>\n
once the trainings done<\/p>\n
is no argument to do this<\/p>\n
it leaves me cold<\/p>\n
to have won<\/p>\n
one’s freedom<\/p>\n
after being trapped and tortured<\/p>\n
seems to me<\/p>\n
we have not learned a great deal<\/p>\n
from our chequered history<\/p>\n
