A wash of blue sky<\/p>\n
heralded the marchers<\/p>\n
from various points of call<\/p>\n
these people came<\/p>\n
Landseer’s Lions<\/p>\n
were there \u00a0which did<\/p>\n
seem poignant<\/p>\n
the sky criss crossed<\/p>\n
with chem trails<\/p>\n
so the same<\/p>\n
as anywhere the people<\/span><\/p>\n might have come from<\/p>\n the chemicals rained down<\/p>\n on us and those<\/p>\n foreigners resigned<\/p>\n to just sight seeing<\/p>\n seemed unaware of \u00a0what this<\/p>\n now does pose<\/p>\n <\/p>\n banners<\/p>\n a few megaphones were present<\/p>\n several human Lions<\/p>\n mingling around<\/p>\n face paints.<\/p>\n yellow tails<\/p>\n the odd roar never fails<\/p>\n speeches drummers<\/p>\n sadly some were drowned<\/p>\n <\/p>\n out by, just the energy of those moments<\/p>\n this a tourist trap<\/p>\n on a warm day<\/p>\n clearly those of us dressed up in costume<\/p>\n were photographed<\/p>\n which really was okay<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the point of all this marching<\/p>\n all those made up for<\/p>\n was the Lions the purest African spirit<\/p>\n and of course the woe<\/p>\n the canned hunts<\/p>\n organised by those rich farmers<\/p>\n who hope the cowardly hunting mob will\u00a0\u00a0go<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n the guarantee of any souls<\/p>\n they wanted<\/p>\n Lions or Leopards<\/p>\n Giraffes Zebras, if they<\/p>\n have the money they can bag an<\/p>\n Elephant or a Rhino<\/p>\n all they really have to do, is Pay<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the animals are raised in an enclosure<\/p>\n in fact you could say it is just a zoo<\/p>\n hand fed, cuddled they get use to humans<\/p>\n they are bred to take some chances too<\/p>\n money changes hands<\/p>\n as each are taken<\/p>\n released into an enclosure<\/p>\n then just shot<\/p>\n perhaps the head or a paw<\/p>\n is sent back to where the hunters from<\/p>\n the trophy for the wall<\/p>\n or perhaps not<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n what we know we see<\/p>\n as simply murder<\/p>\n of those precious Lions who never had a hope<\/p>\n in hell’s chance of a long run in the future<\/p>\n ego’s are fulfilled<\/p>\n they have to cope<\/p>\n seemingly a commodity now currently<\/p>\n sacrificed for men to have their flings<\/p>\n to somehow satisfy their carnal instinct<\/p>\n and that inescapable destiny it brings<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The marchers clearly with a true perspective<\/p>\n are there to give some purpose to the call<\/p>\n to be there for \u00a0the victims<\/p>\n for in many ways the victims<\/p>\n are all of us that’s the honest fact<\/p>\n Yes for the long haul<\/p>\n <\/p>\n to breathe life into what has been created<\/p>\n and guarantee a future in the wild<\/p>\n has to be the reasoning behind now what we do<\/p>\n each of us in essence is a child<\/p>\n of Nature striving in our own way forwards<\/p>\n that seat of life that functions for us all<\/p>\n the symbiotic freedom of survival<\/p>\n we stand together answering the call<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the police vans with their sirens<\/span><\/p>\n every which way<\/p>\n banners drummers, \u00a0performers<\/p>\n here and there<\/p>\n the fountains quite resplendent<\/p>\n in the sunshine<\/p>\n tourists sitting<\/p>\n many unaware<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the message got across to<\/p>\n many onlookers<\/p>\n photo sessions clearly<\/p>\n all about<\/p>\n under a blue sky<\/p>\n black helicopters fly<\/p>\n but many really not in any doubt<\/p>\n <\/p>\n about what now is happening above them<\/p>\n around them<\/p>\n and the protest on the square<\/p>\n they hear the roars<\/p>\n and see the lions a wandering about<\/p>\n and are really just enjoying being there<\/p>\n <\/p>\n a lot of people came<\/p>\n and made their message heard<\/p>\n groups chanted and brochures were handed out<\/p>\n people met up, talked<\/p>\n chewed the fat and walked<\/p>\n in essence that is what it was about<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" A wash of blue sky heralded the marchers from various points of call these people came Landseer’s Lions were there \u00a0which did seem poignant the sky criss crossed with chem trails so the same as anywhere the people might have … Continue reading
