Condolitor<\/p>\n
flew away this morning<\/p>\n
Bright eyes bushy tailed<\/p>\n
Up and away<\/p>\n
To heights He thought<\/p>\n
that he could never ever reach<\/p>\n
Being stunned and left for dead<\/p>\n
the other day.<\/p>\n
Lying on the pavement,<\/p>\n
so exhausted<\/p>\n
Till Dear Cristina<\/p>\n
Found him and she knew<\/p>\n
An Angel, she befriended<\/p>\n
Seemingly descended<\/p>\n
To help him to become<\/p>\n
as good as new.<\/p>\n
She brought him to her haven<\/p>\n
in the suburb’s<\/p>\n
And in a casket gave him love<\/p>\n
and care<\/p>\n
Enough to so enliven his sweet<\/p>\n
spirit<\/p>\n
And guide him once agaiin<\/p>\n
into the air.<\/p>\n
Back up to the thermals<\/p>\n
Condolitor<\/p>\n
Once again was able to espy<\/p>\n
The heads of people<\/p>\n
walking around the city<\/p>\n
Wild and free<\/p>\n
and clearly on a high.<\/p>\n
He sailed across the highways<\/p>\n
and the byways<\/p>\n
Across to Rushton Street<\/p>\n
Just hopeful, He<\/p>\n
Might catch a glimpse of the angel<\/p>\n
That had saved him<\/p>\n
The one and only Cris Millingalli.<\/p>\n
Who probably had a tonne of fresh<\/p>\n
wild bird seed<\/p>\n
And water from some spring<\/p>\n
so sweet and pure<\/p>\n
A casket lined with blankets<\/p>\n
and a heart as good as gold<\/p>\n
An angel and a mother<\/p>\n
Thats what I’ve been told.<\/p>\n
Searching streets for wild<\/p>\n
folk that are injured<\/p>\n
Always on the look out for some soul<\/p>\n
Caught up in the vagaries of living in a city<\/p>\n
Where so much just appears<\/p>\n
