The rainforests are extensive<\/p>\n

taken from their feral state<\/p>\n
and shipped into the town<\/p>\n
and in the human squalor<\/p>\n
many of them drown.<\/p>\n

for its there that abject torture<\/p>\n
becomes their way of life<\/p>\n
6 months training<\/p>\n
made to walk<\/p>\n
like humans<\/p>\n
all that strife<\/p>\n

of being tied, their head upright<\/p>\n
their hands behind their backs<\/p>\n
stretched and stressed<\/p>\n
torture at best<\/p>\n

bikes<\/p>\n
for tourists who<\/p>\n
apparently are fascinated<\/p>\n
by what monkeys do<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
they cannot see beyond<\/p>\n
their noses<\/p>\n
at the torture and the pain<\/p>\n
for 5 to 10 years they do this<\/p>\n
over and over again<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
when they will become aggressive<\/p>\n
and be sold to restaurants who<\/p>\n
sell the exotic meats on<\/p>\n
to customers who do<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
pay the highest prices<\/p>\n
for monkey meat and they<\/p>\n
were the most unfortunate<\/p>\n
creatures anyway<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
JAAN an organisation<\/p>\n
wants to ratify<\/p>\n
the laws to stop this happening<\/p>\n
and to rescue and defy<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
those traders and those people<\/p>\n
who trap these monkeys<\/p>\n
and<\/p>\n
rescue them and send them back<\/p>\n
to an \u00a0a big island<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
where they can get back to their roots<\/p>\n
not ply the streets in town<\/p>\n
they can form their social groups<\/p>\n
and not in our squalor drown<\/p>\n
