There was a lone photographer<\/p>\n
who apparently came from Japan<\/p>\n
he \u00a0 was looking towards us<\/p>\n
and with his Iphone he began<\/p>\n
taking lots of photographs<\/p>\n
his expression was dead pan<\/p>\n
I wondered how he felt about it all<\/p>\n
what was his plan<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I was using the megaphone<\/p>\n
and leading those around<\/p>\n
and he was taking pictures<\/p>\n
and monitoring the sound<\/span><\/p>\n Shame on you I cried out<\/p>\n Japan, Shame on you<\/p>\n it must have kind of spooked him<\/p>\n for he looked pale in my view<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I kind of stopped to imagine<\/p>\n if I was the Japanese<\/p>\n probably I would be<\/p>\n feeling wobbly at the knees<\/p>\n I mean to say they think of me<\/p>\n and of my country,and \u00a0I<\/p>\n feel just a bit uneasy<\/p>\n that these dolphins have to die<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Clearly they are hurt about it<\/p>\n and, they feel sincere<\/p>\n the fishermen of Taiji<\/p>\n I would\u00a0\u00a0not say they were clear<\/span><\/p>\n on how the world looks at them<\/p>\n and exactly what they do<\/p>\n under the tarps in Taiji<\/p>\n and out into the blue<\/p>\n <\/p>\n as the blood turns the sea red<\/p>\n as the dolphins perish slow<\/p>\n in the agony that we have led<\/span><\/p>\n the wide public to know<\/p>\n hanging and always banging<\/p>\n and then the killing spike<\/p>\n each to his own<\/p>\n its what they’ve known<\/p>\n but its clear they do not like<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the pressure and the strain of it<\/p>\n its never culture nor tradition<\/p>\n involving heinous pain<\/p>\n for them<\/p>\n and so he, on his mission<\/p>\n <\/p>\n he perched himself upon that middle strip<\/p>\n for quite a while<\/p>\n he must have taken lots of shots<\/p>\n at 50,all his guile<\/p>\n was not particularly expressive<\/p>\n to me he seemed opposed<\/p>\n really to what I was saying<\/p>\n although \u00a0equally closed<\/p>\n <\/p>\n was he an opportunist<\/p>\n stumbled on it all<\/p>\n working for a paper<\/p>\n the pictures he could call<\/p>\n off onto his cyber space<\/p>\n perhaps to Tokyo<\/p>\n give the people just a \u00a0taste<\/p>\n of the Taiji “seaworld” show<\/p>\n <\/p>\n and watching quietly as they go<\/p>\n up up and \u00a0on their crane they go<\/p>\n up on to a high wet truck<\/p>\n being shipped to god knows where<\/p>\n don’t talk to me of luck<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n transferred from the \u00a0azure sea<\/p>\n onto a sling it seems<\/p>\n to be a nightmare for them<\/p>\n all their inner screams<\/p>\n are taken on board by us<\/p>\n we watch them as they fly<\/p>\n imagining their misfortune<\/p>\n and their grief that some may die<\/p>\n <\/p>\n and all these thoughts<\/p>\n are captured in the faces of those who<\/p>\n came to give their protests<\/p>\n to those, \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 embassy crew<\/p>\n who ventured out to see us<\/p>\n heads down shoulders low<\/p>\n clearly from their body language<\/p>\n they don’t want to know<\/p>\n <\/p>\n clearly they feel embarrassed<\/p>\n for them a loss of face<\/p>\n where is this place called Taiji<\/p>\n how come its a disgrace<\/p>\n <\/p>\n their country<\/p>\n people shouting it<\/p>\n the name of course Tai ji<\/p>\n it clearly means a lot to them<\/p>\n they feel it earnestly<\/p>\n <\/p>\n he carried on his photographs<\/p>\n then packed up, and he was gone<\/p>\n where he came from no one knows<\/p>\n a journalist, a con<\/p>\n <\/p>\n artist who can tell us<\/p>\n no one else there does<\/p>\n know who half the photographers were<\/p>\n some seemed very professional<\/p>\n long lenses that infer<\/p>\n <\/p>\n at least they were well on the ball<\/p>\n and so we carried on<\/p>\n giving them some welly<\/p>\n until our voice was gone<\/p>\n <\/p>\n then we, picked up our Dolphins<\/p>\n and we just peeled away<\/p>\n went into the park to sit<\/p>\n and heard some people say<\/p>\n <\/p>\n really what is it about<\/p>\n where is this Taiji<\/p>\n we will have too google it<\/p>\n so really that was key<\/p>\n <\/p>\n in the grass there were the crocus<\/p>\n random they grew here and there<\/p>\n a bit like the people who just came together<\/p>\n the experience they did share<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the whistles the voices<\/p>\n each had their choices<\/p>\n each motivated to come<\/p>\n and join in the laughter<\/p>\n the sadness it all<\/p>\n and peel off really as some<\/p>\n <\/p>\n did and we did around<\/p>\n quarter to four<\/p>\n deflated our dolphins<\/p>\n and caught<\/p>\n a taxi to somewhere to pick up our car<\/p>\n each of us\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n deep now in thought<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the crocus had slept through the winter<\/p>\n and each of them burst into light<\/p>\n some would get trodden on<\/p>\n some would be broken<\/p>\n and some would appear<\/p>\n well just right<\/p>\n <\/p>\n people like us, we realized we<\/p>\n can make a difference to those<\/p>\n who are broken and spoken<\/p>\n and left in the cove<\/p>\n where actually only a handful now knows<\/p>\n <\/p>\n about them the dolphins who come from Taiji<\/p>\n compared to the world<\/p>\n just a few see<\/p>\n just a few know what is happening there<\/p>\n and just a few happen<\/p>\n to end their despair<\/p>\n <\/p>\n some will see crocus<\/p>\n some will not see<\/p>\n but we saw them
