A cow weighs lots<\/p>\n

into the long grass<\/p>\n
into the clover<\/p>\n
where butterflies do play<\/p>\n

hanging there<\/p>\n
and twisting around<\/p>\n
giddy by it all<\/p>\n
we want to eat its muscle<\/p>\n
and its fat<\/p>\n
for as a rule<\/p>\n
we want to use its leather<\/p>\n
its tongue even its tail<\/p>\n
its legs we want to \u00a0stew them<\/p>\n
a casserole with ale<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the knife it gleams<\/p>\n
and watch as it cuts across its throat<\/p>\n
splits its precious jugular<\/p>\n
suddenly afloat<\/p>\n
in all the blood and sputum<\/p>\n
the executioner<\/p>\n
covered in the blood and gore<\/p>\n
and now a crimson coat<\/p>\n

they swing there in such solace<\/p>\n
the pain erupts as they<\/p>\n
vomit from the shock of it<\/p>\n
as they pass away<\/p>\n
shivering and shaking<\/p>\n
the metal pail is full<\/p>\n
no more the green and verdant fields<\/p>\n
as on the leg the pull<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
is clearly dead weight and heavy<\/p>\n
bleeding out like so<\/p>\n
a wondrous cow walked in here<\/p>\n
whose now finished as we know<\/p>\n
