Its all about timing<\/p>\n

it was \u00a0so unkind<\/span><\/p>\n an unethical way<\/p>\n of managing animals<\/p>\n that’s what I \u00a0can say<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Zoo’s are an arrogant<\/p>\n entity they<\/p>\n are corporate people<\/p>\n trying to play<\/p>\n at God’s and use Nature<\/p>\n they clearly presume<\/p>\n they can do what they like<\/p>\n with\u00a0what comes from the womb<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Zoo keepers have no rights<\/p>\n in my book, for they<\/p>\n they cannot create<\/p>\n what goes on everyday<\/p>\n in the wilds is one thing<\/p>\n but caged up in a zoo<\/p>\n there are no excuses<\/p>\n for what they now do<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n I do not accept that its genes<\/p>\n were \u00a0 too weak<\/span><\/p>\n this was a baby<\/p>\n both mild and both meek<\/p>\n to kill it with a captive bolt<\/p>\n gun to the head<\/p>\n and to cut it up in front of people<\/p>\n has led<\/p>\n <\/p>\n me to think that the zoo<\/p>\n lacked compassion and I<\/p>\n would boycott that place<\/p>\n the reason is why<\/p>\n the officials deciding to murder this soul<\/p>\n are clearly, in my mind, out of control<\/p>\n <\/p>\n other zoo’s<\/p>\n made offers<\/p>\n and clearly<\/p>\n they<\/p>\n saw he had worth and offered<\/span><\/p>\n to pay<\/p>\n <\/p>\n but \u00a0he was an \u00a0it not a he anymore<\/p>\n purely a commodity<\/p>\n and they were sure<\/p>\n shoot him<\/span><\/p>\n and carve him up<\/p>\n and let him be<\/p>\n fed to the Lions<\/p>\n a tragedy<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n they killed it and chopped it up<\/p>\n watched by a crowd<\/p>\n many were children<\/p>\n they shouted out loud<\/p>\n feeding the carcass to the lions<\/p>\n so we hear<\/p>\n for \u00a0that was the done thing<\/p>\n to me it was clear<\/p>\n <\/p>\n it wasn’t the done thing<\/p>\n and didn’t bring cheer<\/p>\n a giraffe lost its life<\/span><\/p>\n for nobody’s sake<\/p>\n a life was snuffed out<\/p>\n a poor little rake<\/p>\n of a soul<\/p>\n got no pity<\/p>\n no empathy there<\/p>\n just a captive bolt pistol<\/p>\n and a yard of despair<\/p>\n <\/p>\n a response then when asked<\/span><\/p>\n that was terribly weak<\/p>\n this zoo should be closed<\/p>\n for people who seek<\/p>\n to end lives not save them<\/p>\n who wants to know<\/p>\n not me and most of us<\/p>\n its a very bad show<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n then we move onto Longleat<\/span><\/p>\n 6 Lions \u00a0are dead<\/p>\n grown ups and 4 cubs<\/span><\/p>\n and where has that led<\/p>\n a bloody furore<\/p>\n the staff there so sad<\/p>\n the juegdment was lousy<\/p>\n the decision was mad<\/p>\n <\/p>\n But\u00a0\u00a0zoo’s tend to \u00a0do this<\/span><\/p>\n I have to exclaim<\/p>\n again they were wrong<\/span><\/p>\n and it appears much the same<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Humans are clearly<\/p>\n unfit for the task<\/p>\n Longleat a game park<\/p>\n and of course \u00a0 we ask<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n why hsalthy Lions and 4 cubs had to die<\/p>\n it doesn’t make sense<\/p>\n we have to ask why<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n who ever decided their fate<\/p>\n has to go<\/p>\n and perhaps we should look at the facts<\/p>\n and then know<\/p>\n <\/p>\n why it was necessary<\/p>\n to put them to death<\/p>\n the valuable iconic<\/p>\n felines \u00a0 their breath<\/p>\n <\/p>\n taken away from them<\/p>\n all of them gone<\/p>\n for me there’s no reason<\/p>\n life maybe goes on<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n but not for these creatures<\/p>\n and its all down to \u00a0 man<\/p>\n who made this decision<\/p>\n and I am not a fan<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Longleat should close<\/p>\n to me they have reached<\/p>\n a watershed obviously<\/p>\n and they have breached<\/p>\n <\/p>\n protocol really<\/p>\n we have to protect<\/p>\n the wild life we have<\/p>\n and here I detect<\/p>\n <\/p>\n some other agenda<\/p>\n its just isn’t clear<\/p>\n why they had to die<\/p>\n it raises my fear<\/p>\n <\/p>\n that more lovely animals will<\/p>\n meet their end<\/p>\n and for zoo’s really<\/p>\n honestly the message \u00a0we send<\/p>\n <\/p>\n is re wild the wilderness<\/p>\n forests and plains<\/p>\n lock up your cages<\/p>\n and enclosures, the pains<\/p>\n animals go through so humans<\/p>\n can make<\/p>\n moiney from their lives<\/p>\n when there’s no give just take<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n to the public at large<\/p>\n is of sadness and woe<\/p>\n wild souls should never<\/p>\n be killed we should know<\/p>\n <\/p>\n they have a life and a place<\/p>\n and should be<\/p>\n protected on all counts<\/p>\n most definatly<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Its all about timing one sweet little ray a baby giraffe who wanted to play it was \u00a0so unkind an unethical way of managing animals that’s what I \u00a0can say Zoo’s are an arrogant entity they are corporate … Continue reading
