Holley its a small place near New York<\/p>\n
On the Eerie Canal and for 6 years or so we<\/p>\n
have heard about a Squirrel Slam<\/p>\n
and what its like to be<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
a child in that fair township<\/p>\n
and its all for a good cause<\/p>\n
to support the local Fire Service<\/p>\n
wait for it \u00a0 I pause<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
you get a lot of children<\/p>\n
arm them to the tee’s<\/p>\n
and get them shooting squirrels<\/p>\n
yea down from the trees<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
they haven’t done them any harm<\/p>\n
its just its Nature’s way<\/p>\n
of providing kid’s with targets<\/p>\n
and making it all pay<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the mindset of the psychopath<\/p>\n
for that’s all I can see<\/p>\n
arming children with semi automatics<\/span><\/p>\n and letting them be<\/p>\n <\/p>\n firing at live targets<\/p>\n killing the wild life<\/p>\n no one in their right mind<\/p>\n would set out to cause strife<\/p>\n <\/p>\n but in Holley its the done thing<\/p>\n its considered, all worth while<\/p>\n its gives them all real meaning<\/p>\n if you can reconcile<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the mindfulness of people<\/p>\n to murder souls like this<\/p>\n to try and shoot the fattest ones<\/p>\n and that alone is bliss<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Hazzard County Squirrel Slam<\/p>\n is an anomaly if you ask me<\/p>\n it has nothing that is positive<\/p>\n and it lacks all empathy<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Fire Dept personnel<\/p>\n should have banned it long ago<\/p>\n but they seem to welcome this destruction<\/p>\n and call it a fine show<\/p>\n <\/p>\n to me it smacks subversion<\/p>\n the mindset of it all<\/p>\n to create these serial killers<\/p>\n and reward them for their haul<\/p>\n <\/p>\n and meanwhile squirrel families<\/p>\n for they are a social group<\/p>\n will be stressed out and left lonely<\/p>\n whilst the kids are cock a hoop<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I find this really off you know<\/p>\n its pandering to the fools<\/p>\n children with guns<\/p>\n that kill wild souls<\/p>\n break all of the rules<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Animals do have rights to live<\/p>\n creation made that so<\/p>\n they have a place in the biosphere<\/p>\n which the kid’s should get to know<\/p>\n <\/p>\n be helped to understand them<\/p>\n study them and try<\/p>\n to love their feral animals<\/p>\n not force them all to die<\/p>\n <\/p>\n a squirrel admiration<\/p>\n a squirrel care day yes<\/p>\n but this death and destruction<\/p>\n shows me \u00a0what a mess<\/p>\n <\/p>\n they are in,so evil really<\/p>\n and so lacking clear thought<\/p>\n turning what is murder<\/p>\n into an annual sport<\/p>\n <\/p>\n its a sick and twisted pastime<\/p>\n its an evil vile display<\/p>\n it does nothing for the children<\/p>\n and causes great dismay<\/p>\n <\/p>\n how can that be positive<\/p>\n how can that be right<\/p>\n killing feral creatures<\/p>\n whose vision is the light<\/p>\n <\/p>\n who live alongside all of us<\/p>\n in the wide outdoors<\/p>\n and add to the charm<\/p>\n of life itself<\/p>\n and this is our applause<\/p>\n <\/p>\n shoot them down<\/p>\n maim them<\/p>\n slaughter them at will<\/p>\n fire your bullets into them<\/p>\n until of course they are still<\/p>\n <\/p>\n short lives become shorter<\/p>\n the kids how would they know<\/p>\n what is right and what is wrong<\/p>\n they feel they are in the flow<\/p>\n <\/p>\n a sadness I feel truthfully<\/p>\n for the evil over rides<\/p>\n the sanity that is Nature<\/p>\n and I’m not taking sides<\/p>\n <\/p>\n to me the children<\/p>\n are being<\/p>\n abused and left to be<\/p>\n victims in a murder<\/p>\n of the wild folk tragically<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Holley its a small place near New York On the Eerie Canal and for 6 years or so we have heard about a Squirrel Slam and what its like to be a child in that fair township and its … Continue reading
