I look across at Sea World<\/p>\n
and imagine how they got<\/p>\n
really quite so arrogant<\/p>\n
for intelligent they are not<\/p>\n
they took a proud and skillful soul<\/p>\n
accomplished lets us say<\/p>\n
a master of the oceans depths<\/p>\n
with an innate precious way<\/p>\n
of hunting based on experience<\/p>\n
on its creative brain<\/p>\n
a brain much bigger than<\/p>\n
the human species<\/p>\n
who attain<\/p>\n
intelligence its true to say<\/p>\n
but nothing on the scale<\/p>\n
of the intelligence the orca<\/p>\n
has<\/p>\n
his prowess leaves most<\/p>\n
pale<\/p>\n
of course he”s taught by nature<\/p>\n
he has instinct but also<\/p>\n
he has a brain to figure out<\/p>\n
the best ways he can show<\/p>\n
the safest way of hunting<\/p>\n
the ease he should display<\/p>\n
they work together in a pod<\/p>\n
proficient in every way<\/p>\n
this guile this cooperation<\/p>\n
is a strength few creatures see<\/p>\n
they are anything but selfish<\/p>\n
they food share naturally<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
so adaptable to environments<\/p>\n
and to whatever prey<\/p>\n
they can exploit ,their genius<\/p>\n
clever in every way<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
now imagine all this knowledge<\/p>\n
and Sea World, decides that they<\/p>\n
will capture Orca’s and train them up<\/p>\n
to form a great display<\/p>\n
it sort of reminds me of King Kong<\/p>\n
they are King Kong of the sea<\/p>\n
they are huge and fast<\/p>\n
and built to last<\/p>\n
and have feelings and memory<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
thus you can never hurt them<\/p>\n
never disturb the pod<\/p>\n
never kill or maim them<\/p>\n
if you do it could be a sod<\/p>\n
the Orca will never forget that<\/p>\n
the orca will bide their time<\/p>\n
and if they fill downtrodden<\/p>\n
out of their pit they will climb<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It was a silly idea<\/p>\n
an arrogant display<\/p>\n
unthinking really and quite daf’t<\/p>\n
to try to make them pay<\/p>\n
to haul them from the ocean<\/p>\n
and put them in a tank<\/p>\n
a concrete mass of water<\/p>\n
that soon gets rather rank<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
watch the orca families<\/p>\n
see how they communicate<\/p>\n
each pod has a system<\/p>\n
a language<\/p>\n
they berate<\/p>\n
each other, and look after<\/p>\n
each other it soon shows<\/p>\n
when\u00a0plucking orca’s from the oc<\/span>ean<\/p>\n it doesnt make for prose<\/p>\n it doesn’t make good poetry<\/p>\n it doesn’t make a song<\/p>\n the beat the meter all of this<\/p>\n it kind of \u00a0 feels all \u00a0wrong<\/p>\n <\/p>\n recently the film Black fish<\/p>\n told a story \u00a0thats when \u00a0we<\/p>\n watched “Tilikum”<\/p>\n the Orca suffer incredulously<\/p>\n Sea World might not hack it<\/p>\n but this great beast he knew<\/p>\n he suffered at their hands<\/p>\n when he was younger<\/p>\n and his view<\/p>\n was saddened by that experience<\/p>\n and the arrogance they had shown<\/p>\n how he and other Orca’s were left<\/p>\n and felt alone<\/p>\n dismal was their outlook<\/p>\n desolate with dismay<\/p>\n put upon and lied to<\/p>\n which was man’s sick way<\/p>\n <\/p>\n it must feel quite provocative<\/p>\n it challenges their soul<\/p>\n its really rather reckless<\/p>\n to try and control<\/p>\n and not expect<\/p>\n retaliation<\/p>\n to intimidate<\/p>\n but feel<\/p>\n that you have the upper hand<\/p>\n with them<\/p>\n which truly isn’t real<\/p>\n And when the shit does hit the fan<\/p>\n the blame game comes to be<\/p>\n thats what human beings do<\/p>\n throughout history<\/p>\n but Orca’s on the other hand<\/p>\n they know they have the power<\/p>\n and they will perhaps try again<\/p>\n and make the whole thing sour<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I look across at Sea World and imagine how they got really quite so arrogant for intelligent they are not they took a proud and skillful soul accomplished lets us say a master of the oceans depths with an innate … Continue reading
