{"id":13846,"date":"2014-01-27T11:18:53","date_gmt":"2014-01-27T11:18:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=13846"},"modified":"2014-01-27T11:36:26","modified_gmt":"2014-01-27T11:36:26","slug":"more-slaughter-in-japanese-waters-this-time-the-dalls-porpoise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2014\/01\/more-slaughter-in-japanese-waters-this-time-the-dalls-porpoise\/","title":{"rendered":"More slaughter in Japanese waters this time the Dalls Porpoise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More slaughter takes places every year<\/p>\n<p>outside the cove at Taiji<\/p>\n<p>this is in the northern parts<\/p>\n<p>without \u00a0the publicity<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2 men boats go out to sea<\/p>\n<p>and take the porpoise they<\/p>\n<p>are always killed<\/p>\n<p>and many of them<\/p>\n<p>out there the blood is spilled<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>some reach weights of 500 pounds<\/p>\n<p>these are handsome souls<\/p>\n<p>living on Hake and Skate I hear<\/p>\n<p>and the japanese have goals<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>they take around 20,000<\/p>\n<p>thats a lot a meat<\/p>\n<p>thats a lot victim&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>in Iwate \u00a0they are discreet<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Taiji gets the interest<\/p>\n<p>the camera&#8217;s all go<\/p>\n<p>filming at the cove of death<\/p>\n<p>where everything&#8217;s on show<\/p>\n<p>In<span style=\"color: #444444;\">\u00a0Iwate now that&#8217;s killing<\/span><\/p>\n<p>and its not a cultural thing<\/p>\n<p>its been happening really since<\/p>\n<p>the whaling ban<\/p>\n<p>they couldn&#8217;t bring<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>all those huge great whales<\/p>\n<p>aboard<\/p>\n<p>and so the smaller souls<\/p>\n<p>are slaughtered<\/p>\n<p>many of them<\/p>\n<p>to try to meet the goals<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pilot whales and beaked whales<\/p>\n<p>are also being killed<\/p>\n<p>it all done very quietly<\/p>\n<p>the fisherman are thrilled<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Japan is quite remarkable<\/p>\n<p>how she carries on<\/p>\n<p>and probably will be killing them<\/p>\n<p>till everyone is gone<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>thats despite Fukashima<\/p>\n<p>and the radioactive soup<\/p>\n<p>and despite all that mercury<\/p>\n<p>they still tay in the loop<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>their sashimi and they sushi \u00a0stuff<\/p>\n<p>that&#8217;s is what they eat<\/p>\n<p>Minamata has been forgotten<\/p>\n<p>by Japan&#8217;s elite<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>with all this radiation<\/p>\n<p>spreading far and wide<\/p>\n<p>eating from the seas around Japan<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #444444;\">it must be \u00a0suicide<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>but still they want to do that<\/p>\n<p>apparently they feel<\/p>\n<p>culture is a price worth paying<\/p>\n<p>despite what we reveal<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>20,000 porpoises<\/p>\n<p>are dying every year<\/p>\n<p>and now \u00a0loaded with radiaoactive<\/p>\n<p>strontium I fear<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Strontium has a half life<\/p>\n<p>of about 600 years<\/p>\n<p>so in a nutshell that may mean<\/p>\n<p>and awful lot of tears<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>More slaughter takes places every year outside the cove at Taiji this is in the northern parts without \u00a0the publicity &nbsp;
