A great leap of faith<\/p>\n
In the day of the ROO<\/p>\n
Seen as a pest<\/p>\n
As many now do<\/p>\n
Made into leather<\/p>\n
For footballs alas!<\/p>\n
And murdered to fulfil<\/p>\n
the meat eating mass<\/p>\n
Man points his fingers<\/p>\n
and others agree<\/p>\n
The ROO creates damage<\/p>\n
and man, now he be<\/p>\n
out in the countryside<\/p>\n
violating<\/p>\n
Everything he gets his hands on<\/p>\n
the thing<\/p>\n
thats different from man<\/p>\n
He rules the world<\/p>\n
The ROO is a wild thing<\/p>\n
a victim whose hurled<\/p>\n
blamed for man’s errors<\/p>\n
and living in fear<\/p>\n
and dying out sadly<\/p>\n
to me that is clear<\/p>\n
Who painted the sky?<\/p>\n
with such yellows and grey<\/p>\n
Not men with their bombs<\/p>\n
That blow you away<\/p>\n
Who sculptured the trees?<\/p>\n
With their gentle format<\/p>\n
Not man he was too busy<\/p>\n
making kid’s fat<\/p>\n
With his sugary drinks<\/p>\n
and his corn syrup bars<\/p>\n
ruining everything<\/p>\n
this side of Mars<\/p>\n
He resented the ROOS<\/p>\n
and the trees often stood<\/p>\n
Where in his mind<\/p>\n
his dream<\/p>\n
house now could<\/p>\n
Stand in a copse<\/p>\n
of green grass and flowers<\/p>\n
With a fifty foot screen<\/p>\n
and a few concrete cows<\/p>\n
