The unrelentless Nullarbor<\/p>\n
Great backdrop to the sky<\/p>\n
Not even the old Kangaroo<\/p>\n
Can now be seen to fly<\/p>\n
Its bare earth and its shrubland<\/p>\n
Bare witness to the way<\/p>\n
Its is waterless and arid<\/p>\n
And even the sky does little<\/p>\n
than to paste a curtain grey<\/p>\n
With intermittent streaks of blue<\/p>\n
all along the way<\/p>\n
Rawlinna boats a Post office<\/p>\n
Where tresspassers are warned<\/p>\n
“Keep out you would be laggards”<\/p>\n
And where would they be spawned<\/p>\n
A crazy mass of wilderness<\/p>\n
Where Kangaroo’s no more<\/p>\n
Skirt the plain or the rich refrain<\/p>\n
A fact not to ignore<\/p>\n
