My big boy ,lives with us<\/p>\n
in Gaddesden<\/p>\n
its where<\/p>\n
I roam the wild location<\/p>\n
this cottage<\/p>\n
we all share<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
its somewhere I can<\/p>\n
come back to<\/p>\n
for I am a feral cat<\/p>\n
that means the wildness<\/p>\n
haunts me<\/p>\n
its exactly where I am at<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
with Claudia and Luca<\/p>\n
and sometimes Rex comes by<\/p>\n
he feeds us<\/p>\n
and he’s fair to me<\/p>\n
because Claudia knows that I<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
eat slowly<\/p>\n
often coming back to finish<\/p>\n
off my grub<\/p>\n
but Bear given the chance<\/p>\n
will scoff it all<\/p>\n
yes thats the rub<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
really I gave birth to him<\/p>\n
and he somehow forgets<\/p>\n
then he’s a boy<\/p>\n
my pride and joy<\/p>\n
and its my heart<\/p>\n
that lets<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
him do that<\/p>\n
though I am hungry<\/p>\n
but \u00a0noticeably, I<\/p>\n
see rex sits by and lets me finish<\/p>\n
when he does that I just sigh<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I’m lily bags the wildness I \u00a0really do adore<\/p>\n
sitting by the fireside<\/p>\n
I am not entirely sure<\/p>\n
being in the elements<\/p>\n
alongside frogs and toads<\/p>\n
alongside Moles the fox and rats<\/p>\n
that’s \u00a0what I love loads<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
thats my date with freedom<\/p>\n
thats the way for me<\/p>\n
I can climb up on the shed<\/p>\n
or perch<\/p>\n
high in a tree<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
listen to the bird song<\/p>\n
observe the beetles who<\/p>\n
take their place<\/span><\/p>\n to help me chase<\/p>\n what is infinity<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I love my life in Gaddesden<\/p>\n Claudia for me<\/p>\n she loves us how she loves us<\/p>\n and its where I like to be<\/p>\n <\/p>\n she laboriously de fleas us<\/p>\n that helps a wild soul, and<\/p>\n I love her very dearly<\/p>\n which I know she will understand<\/p>\n <\/p>\n last night and every night<\/p>\n I have to venture<\/p>\n to the far<\/p>\n fields the yields<\/p>\n are favourable<\/p>\n I follow the great north star<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the wind<\/p>\n the rain<\/p>\n the hail<\/p>\n the snow<\/p>\n the sunshine its for me<\/p>\n not toasting my tootsies by the fire<\/span><\/p>\n for a feral cat I be<\/p>\n <\/p>\n thats not saying that I cannot<\/p>\n I like it on the stairs<\/p>\n I sit up there and contemplate<\/p>\n my future<\/p>\n our affairs<\/p>\n <\/p>\n of life that really<\/p>\n is my guiding light<\/p>\n I love the cottage so<\/p>\n but I tuly have to get away<\/p>\n legs into gear most every day<\/p>\n <\/p>\n which goes to show my boy<\/p>\n he’s a \u00a0big lad<\/p>\n and he<\/p>\n eats too much, and tries then \u00a0to tell me<\/p>\n he is healthy<\/p>\n he\u00a0is, but he just denies me<\/span><\/p>\n sometimes seemingly<\/p>\n forgets I am his mother<\/p>\n and of course that I can see<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I do need my \u00a0freedom<\/p>\n how I have got to roam<\/p>\n to meet up with the wild folk<\/p>\n and tell them about my home<\/p>\n <\/p>\n tell them about, Claudia<\/p>\n tell them how much I<\/p>\n love her,<\/p>\n need her<\/p>\n want her<\/p>\n and sometimes I like to lie<\/p>\n half asleep and think of her<\/p>\n how sometimes she yells<\/p>\n but sweetly I remember<\/p>\n that she<\/p>\n rings all my bells<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n I came to her with a busted paw<\/p>\n in pain<\/p>\n and in a state<\/p>\n she took me in<\/p>\n she loved me<\/p>\n and gave me a plate<\/p>\n <\/p>\n of food ,her love was<\/p>\n bountiful<\/p>\n she’s always there \u00a0for me<\/p>\n although I am a feral cat<\/p>\n as everyone can see<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" My big boy ,lives with us in Gaddesden its where I roam the wild location this cottage we all share its somewhere I can come back to for I am a feral cat that means the wildness haunts me … Continue reading
