There is bravery and there is exceptional
\nbravery and we
\nare party to the latter with this sweet soul
\n“Sadie”
\nput out by a human to run the course
\nof time
\nto hunt out in the open
\nowned by some human slime
\nwho had no thought of care for her
\nand she was on her own
\nshe stumbled into a hunter trap
\nthe worst she’d ever know
\nlying there she got frantic
\nit was so cold stuck outside
\nshe was pained and hungry
\nwith no one to confide
\nin she began to chew and chew
\nthrough the metal strap
\nbusting her teeth
\nand tearing her gums
\nbut couldn’t face the rap
\nof winter on her being
\nshe had to get away
\nshe had to free herself
\nsomehow
\nshe had a price to pay
\nshe started gnawing through
\nher leg what else could she do
\nshe was a feisty female
\nshe wanted to get through
\nthis vile ordeal out in the cold
\nand so she chewed away
\nchewed her broken leg off
\nimagine the dismay
\nimagine all the agony
\nits hard to but she tried
\nand was able to free herself in fact
\nand crawl to the roadside
\nshe was found and rescued
\nwhat a heart she had
\nthe slime who threw her out though
\ncould not have been more bad
\nI hope they realise one day
\nhow sick they were for she
\nproved she was a fighter
\nas brave as brave could be<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
