The day of reconciliation
\nis upon us all
\nSouth Africa the country
\nwhere everyone walks tall
\nor could if they would only
\nlook up, into the sky
\nand realise the clouds are there
\nfor everyone and why
\nfreedom is the word that’s now
\non everybody’s lips
\nlove and generosity
\nwe have to get to grips
\nwith every day
\nfor every day is shared
\nby everyone
\nwe have the vision
\nwe have the scope
\nwe have blue skies and sun
\nthe day of reconciliation
\nit is ours to hold
\nand Susan what a champion
\nof the canine tribe
\nall rolled
\ninto one we see you
\nbroken paws up there
\nup there in the sky above
\nfor the whole world to share
\na warm heart and a lovely soul
\nthat’s Susan our dear friend
\nwho searches right across the world
\nhopeful just to end
\nthe suffering of animals
\nfor suffering they do
\nand Susan is so passionate
\nabout all of them too<\/p>\n
she drives herself
\nshe fights so hard
\nshe pulls love from her soul
\nand the animals around the world
\nthat she knows is her goal
\nto help house the unfortunates
\nand send them on their way
\nto forever homes
\nwith forever people
\nand cast from them dismay<\/p>\n
