Man has reached beyond himself
\ninto destructive pose
\nhe’s killing everything about him
\njust beyond his nose
\nthe forests he has decimated
\nthe rivers they run dry
\nhe has changed their length
\nand polluted them
\nand the fishes they did die<\/p>\n
the oceans are his dustbin
\neverything he chucks
\nradio active chemicals
\nplastics yes he sucks!
\nimprisoning the Orca’s
\nand the Dolphins as if he
\nhas every right to do this
\nwhen in fact it was not to be<\/p>\n
blowing up great mountains
\nfracking deep deep down
\ncausing major earthquakes
\nthat risk another town
\nsink holes are developing
\npollution everywhere
\nhe’s killing other earthlings
\nin there billions
\nhe won’t share<\/p>\n
anything with anyone
\nthe corporate state has come
\nslaughterhouses everywhere
\nthe hunting of the dumb
\nthe canned hunts and the trophies
\nsacrifice again
\nwe are slaves to the corporates
\nbeing sloshed now down their drain<\/p>\n
the world, all its resources
\nare murdered one by one
\nthe trees have got our DNA
\nso what have we now done
\ntorn a’sunder forests
\nkilled off animals there
\ndeserts are encroaching
\non great plains of despair<\/p>\n
soon there will be no people
\nand no animals at all
\nbut the earth will keep on turning
\nlook at Chernobyl
\nas a rule
\nthe radioactive future
\nmay be mighty long its true
\nbut the planet has all the time in the world
\nits just the lot of you<\/p>\n
have little time
\nthe generations may come and may go
\nbut in the end the earth will still
\nbe here as well you know<\/p>\n
