A local council stipulated
\nthere was not to be
\nchickens kept in homes
\nnot residentially
\none family had an autistic son
\nwho derived a lot of fun
\nfrom having chickens in the yard
\nand sitting in the sun<\/p>\n
with them and cuddling them a lot
\nit made him just feel whole
\nhe began to perk up and be seen
\nthey kind of saved his soul
\nhe clearly loved their where for all
\nand they were attracted too
\nsomething about the little boy
\nmade the encounters true<\/p>\n
the local council finding out
\nthat the family seemingly
\nhad broken the law on chicken keeping
\ntold them they had to see
\nthe chickens off their premises
\nfor that had to be the rule
\nbut the father said his autistic son
\nloved them that was all<\/p>\n
not only loved them but they aided
\nhim and made him whole
\nhe was fascinated by them
\nand them by him their role
\nand both saw real improvement
\nthe chicken were the key
\nelement in all of this
\nhis healing seemingly<\/p>\n
as the father made it clear
\nthe local council considered it
\nand agreed they could stay here
\nthe little boy was getting some therapeutic aid
\nwatching the chickens in his coop
\nand eating the eggs they laid<\/p>\n
and so it was decided the chickens they could stay
\nthe autistic boy and the chickens
