British Gas are heavily into Fracking
\nI’ve told them straight it so upset me to
\nhear they have their fingers in the fracking pot
\nIn Australia it will cost a job or two
\nQGC is the corporation out there
\nwho have the where for all to tear down trees
\nnot even the local people are able to do that
\nBut QGC can just do what they please<\/p>\n
it really isn’t ecologically sustainable
\nthe methane\/radon contamination scene
\nthe air the water the environment
\nits such a messy business
\nand really far removed from being green<\/p>\n
we are green for believing what they are saying
\nour politicians are as daft as brushes too
\ngiving them bloody tax breaks and carte blanche
\napplications
\nblinding them with science and how that does accrue
\nmethane in the air is getting serious
\nflaming gas can, be nasty too
\nwhat to do with all the fracking water
\nand the earthquake element is it down to you?<\/p>\n
to me, to them but we will have to take the can
\nlong term it is a total waste of good
\nit turns the sweet environment to garbage down below
\nand we shouldn’t do this because we think we should<\/p>\n
the land your home or business might just
\nbe on your freehold
\nbut underneath the property its there’s
\nthey can buy the right and mine below your house
\nbest say your prayers
\nbecause you are going to need them
\nthat’s for certain
\nthe noise the smells the pollution’s going to come
\nyou’ll be getting sludge out of your taps before too long
\nso take a tip from me ,and just have some<\/p>\n
say make sure you get it all in writing
\nbecause they’ll stitch you up the red tape will
\nget into your psyche you wont have a leg to stand on
\nwith all their money what you say they’ll kill
\nfracking water has got a lot of nasties
\nthe proppants thats the sand will come back and
\nmay end up polluting half your garden
\nand once again you will not understand<\/p>\n
the money they make is really in the first year
\nthereafter its can dwindle so they say
\nthat’s when the the water table can be badly hit
\nand gas can really begin to make you pay
\nthe cheaper gas forget it it won’t happen
\nthey rake off the profits pretty quick
\nit all goes pear shaped as time passes by
\nthat’s when people around start feeling sick<\/p>\n
they keep fracking quiet about the truth in fact
\nthe methane seepage and the other crap
\nthe air you breathe may very well need monitoring
\nthere is mining where you are living its your trap
\nthey sod off and live in some other area
\nthey will frack their neighbourhood for they know
\nthe house prices will tumble like a stack of cards
\nstealth becomes the key as profits grow<\/p>\n
of course then it will dawn on you they messed up
\nbut you will lose your trousers any way
\nyou will lack empowerment having lost your little nest egg
\nand they’ll go off where someone else will pay
\nand so it goes on frackiing will costs people
\ntheir life saving their nest eggs and their lot
\nand all these rich investors and all these bloody banksters
