I cannot for the life me
\nimagine why it is
\nimportant for so many
\nuniversities
\nto be actively involved
\nin the invasive surgery
\nof animal earthlings on their patch
\nfor me it hurts you see<\/p>\n
take greyhounds in Australia
\nand Newcastle where I have been
\nwhy injure these beings
\nto me it is obscene
\nbody stabilising techniques
\nmaintaining blood pressure, to me
\nand doing it without sedation

that animals do suffer so
\nthey are sentient after all
\nand personnel in some laboratory
\nwhy the hell do they haul

\nand cut them up at will
\nto me its so unnecessary

greyhounds are mistreated
\nmade to run for sport
\nfor gambling for human pleasure
\nno one gives a thought
