Captive Orca’s in a tank
\nof their own soup of course
\nits rank
\nround and round the concrete
\nwalls
\nit sickens its sterile
\nthey are not fools<\/p>\n
unlike the humans who put them there
\nignorance and beyond despair
\nwhere’s the plant life
\nwhere’s the sand
\nsurely these trolls
\ncan understand<\/p>\n
these are ocean mammals who
\nneed to see to think to view
\nhumanity it lets them down
\nman un kind can go to town
\nhe is free but Orca’s they
\nare prisoners that are made to pay<\/p>\n
its thoroughly boring
\nwith nothing to do
\nno one to chase
\nor to chase after you
\nno weeds and no shellfish
\nnothing to see
\nno coral no shoals
\nno turtles there be<\/p>\n
what would we expect
\nfrom a soul in a jar
\ngoing completely mad
\nno one knows how far
\nbut this stark existence
\nwill not do them good
\nits cracking them up
\nmore than it should<\/p>\n
they are wild sea creatures
\ntravel’s their thing
\nthey can go miles
\nthats what does bring
\nthem into contact
\nwith so much to see
\ncompared to these walls
