A drug dealer purchased 3 little souls
\n“Leo” the Lion “Baloo” the Bear
\nand “Khan” the Tiger
\nand all three did share
\nand enclosure together
\nthey always were there
\nhelping each other
\nand at times things got bad
\nfor neglect set in fast
\nwhich became very sad<\/p>\n
eventually Noah’s Ark
\na sanctuary came
\nand took them away
\nand they did claim
\nthat “Baloo” was so hurt
\nby his harness that he
\nneeded to have it removed
\nsurgically<\/p>\n
clearly it cost him
\na great deal of pain
\nbut with it off his body
\nhis spirit did gain
\na lot
\nand the experience did make him see
\nthat with his two fine companions
\nhe wanted to be<\/p>\n
each helped each other
\nbuddies they were
\nsuffering equally
\nit begins to stir
\nall the emotions
\nto see wild souls, who
\nare good friends together
\nall of them true<\/p>\n
enter the federal government
\nand they
\nstipulate big cats
\nare to be housed in a way
\nthat gives 16 foot fences
\nnot 8 feet as they
\nhad been kept together
\nmaking, them pay<\/p>\n
and the realization
\nof a splitting the 3
\ntook such a turn
\nit seemed that no way
\ncould the charity
\npay for such a high fence
\nand the whole matter
\ngot so very intense<\/p>\n
but the public weighed in
\nthe supporters were there
\nthey coughed up a lot
\nand the fencer’s aware
\nof the great camaraderie
\nthat did exist
\ndiscounted the fences
\nand so did enlist<\/p>\n
affairs of the heart
\nfor the 3 lovely souls
\nwho now are together
\nin their respective roles
\nfriends for life really
\nwho would believe
\nthat a Bear and a Lion and a Tiger
\nachieve
\nfriendship and lasting
\ntheir lifetimes it seems
\na story that only takes place
