Winter and the violence starts
\nthe ice and snow that’s breaks some hearts
\ngreat tidal waves of thrusting snow
\nfollow the winds where ere they go
\nMale Polar Bears are forced to be
\nplodding around on the frozen sea
\nthis terrible weather takes its toll
\nits will cut and freeze just any soul<\/p>\n
the female she will find somewhere
\nand build a soft snow nest and share
\nhopeful that the winds will bring
\nmore snow and she can be trusting
\ndig down deep and have her young
\nand truthfully remain among<\/p>\n
great single specks of black now rise
\nupwards straight into the skies
\nmillions of Eiders they must go
\nor freeze up if they stay below
\nsome may try it the gamble will
\nnot pay off for the ice will spill
\ndownwards as it always does
\nand those who didn’t won’t fill the buzz
\nthey will be frozen where they lay
\nhemmed in by the encroaching play
\nthe icy hand that will crush them flat
\nlike a very thick and engaging mat<\/p>\n
above us really very high
\n100 miles up in the sky
\nthe solar winds the magnetic poles
\ndancing lights and colourful souls
\nthe northern lights ripple and sway
