Homelessness is something that only those who are
\ncan tell you about
\nthe anguish
\nthe soul urge it does scar
\nno walls
\nno doors
\nno windows
\nno protection, at all
\nnothing you can call your own
\nfrom a great height you just fall<\/p>\n
down into the pits, the gutter down into the slime
\nkipping on a park bench in a cardboard box
\nyou climb
\nout there in all weathers
\nwith a few belongings, you
\nwander about the cities streets
\nwith nothing else to do<\/p>\n
one such women she was known
\nas the cat lady for she
\nhad 2 stray cats holed up in carrier case
\nthat was where they be
\na few old clothes pushed in there
\nand that was all she had
\nshe would stand it by the place she sat
\nand generally was sad<\/p>\n
recently a skateboarder
\nand 6 foot white guy came
\nrushing passed where she was sitting
\nseemingly she did claim
\nhe picked up all her worldly goods
\nand tossed them in the bay
\nall she had her 2 wee cats
\nwere gone that’s what they say<\/p>\n
she wanted to go after him
\nbut was stopped for those they knew
\nif she had jumped down OFF the pier
\nwhat else would she do
\nbut drowned and she beside herself
\nwas comforted by those
\nwho realised what happened
\nand the dangers that it posed<\/p>\n
one has to ask the question
\nwhat sicko’s are there there
\nskateboarding around the place
\nno compassion anywhere
\nunfeeling of a women
\na homeless women too
\nwho hadn’t done them any harm
\nand was broken hearted to<\/p>\n
and know her two cats had been lost
\nshe beside herself with woe
\nbroken like a flower stalk
\nwhen a hefty wind did blow
\nthe police are looking for a man
\nlets hope he’s caught for he
\nis clearly another psychopath
