\nthey are there to lay eggs

\nwill become a turkey

you would think they treat them kindly
\nyou would think they’d keep them clean
\nyou would think that they’d look after them
\nbut really we are mean
\nwe really are mean spirited
\nwe really do not care
\nwe force them into tiny cages
\nand we are not aware<\/p>\n
these are really great big birds
\nwith flapping feather
\nand big heads
\nand we force them into tiny cages
\nthousands of them in these sheds
\nand there they lay
\nthey lay each day
\nand to get the eggs
\nwe do
\ncoax them out
\nthat’s what its about
\nwe cruelly do it too<\/p>\n
grab them by a single leg
\nor tail feathers it must
\nreally hurt those poor birds
\nfor me it does disgust
\nthese eggs they pay their wages
\nand yet what do they do
\nthey treat them with out compassion
\nand they molest them too<\/p>\n
because they are gigantic
\nthey can never mate
\nand so it once a week
\nthey are hung upside down
\nto wait
\nthe bloke the troll without a soul
\nwith his plastic phallic tool
\nsticks it in them violently
\nraped yea one and all<\/p>\n
this is how they treat them
\nthey don’t bloody care
\nthey sometimes get stuck in their cages
\nno one’s there to share
\nthe hardship
\nno one free’s them
\nthey just lay and die
\nor push out of the cage
\nand tear themselves, and thatis why
\nblood trails leave the cages
\ninfections they are rife
\nthey burn their beaks off as you know
\nand that causes such strife
\ntheir feet do get infected
\nand walking then is a pain
\nthey hobble here and hobble there
\nover and over again<\/p>\n
nobody comes to look at them
\nnobody tries to see
\nthere are no vets employed to care
\nthat’s how it has to be
\nthey really are given a bad time
\nand it truly isn’t fair
\nfarm animals get a bad deal
\nbut consumers are they aware ?<\/p>\n
Thanksgiving and the other holidays
\nthat people spend
\nthey go and buy a Turkey
\nthe poor soul meets its end
\nits been treated really terribly
\nits been tortured all its life
\nyou talk to me about thanksgiving
\nthey thank you for the strife<\/p>\n
for the evil that ran wild there
\nfor the filth they had to bear
\nmothers who love their babies
\ndon’t get a chance to share
\nnot even a minute
\nthey are taken away
\nand turkey mums are beside themselves
\nand lament of course and pay<\/p>\n
the price for being females
\nthese men trolls here about
\nwhat they know about love or anything
\nI have no doubt
\nthese trolls are vile and rotten
\nwhat they are doing here
\nis tantamount to awful
\ncreating massive fear <\/p>\n
As compassion over killing says
\nwhy not leave them off your plate
\neat something that never had to be killed
\nmake a date
\nwith vegan food just try it out
\nspare the turkey let
\nits torture food you are eating
