The paths we follow
\noften came from parents
\nif parents had been hunters
\nthen we may
\nhave followed in their footsteps
\nthat’s if we chose to follow
\nwho we choose and why we choose
\ncan stay
\nwith us for a lifetime
\nit is possible
\nor we can shy away from what they did
\ngo and do our own thing
\nmaybe just the opposite
\ngo fight for the animals
\nand bid
\nfarewell to high fiving and the
\nblood and snot
\nto hear the huntress talking
\nas they do
\nof passion
\nof a vocation
\nand a life style
\nsome how it just doesn’t all ring true<\/p>\n
I think whilst I was sleeping
\nthey were hunting
\nwere preparing for the killings
\nas you do
\nas women I just didn’t see the reason
\nto kill a live soul
\nand to shoot it through
\ncopying the men but trying harder
\nto be better to be faster to be there
\nshooting down the wildest the most dangerous
\nand doing it alone with much to spare<\/p>\n
bow hunting in the jungles
\nin the forests on the plains
\ncoming face to face with wildness
\nbut holding tight the reins
\ntakes a special courage
\nundaunted actually
\nready always on the ball
\nfor the coming savagery<\/p>\n
they are coming from the woodwork
\nin Melissa’s shadow they
\nstep into the lime light
\naS the world blows her away
\nfor me I see a women not a a killer but, well she
\nmust be strong and powerful
\nbut also needs to be<\/p>\n
full on, on compassion
\nneeds must as they say
\na women should be saving
\nbe standing in the way
\nnot slaughtering the innocent
\nthe ego rush and more
\nand gutting out and bleeding
\nand dealing with the gore<\/p>\n
that’s the troll like hunters
\nthe man tribe who we see
\nthey make a mess of everything
\nand fall out of their tree
\nso many times they miss the prey
\nor maim it and it limps away
\nnot a lot that we can say
\nexcept no one should be<\/p>\n
taking on the wild ones where
\nthey were put and though aware
\nof everything they surly must
\nnot be shot down in the dust
\nthey have lives and they possess
\na sentient quality let us stress
\nto kill and maim the huntress must
\novercome and so redress<\/p>\n
the balance of uncertainty
\nthe risks she takes
\nthe misery
\nabroad within the confines she
\nfires over head
\nher angst to be
\nin conflict with her ego and
\nhopeful will understand<\/p>\n
a huntress she ought never be
\nfor saving life is a certainty
\nfor taking life is a no women should
\nshe should use her influence for good
\ndon’t run alongside men and try
\nto emulate them that is why
\nthe need is it appears to me
\nbut let it go just let them be<\/p>\n
I don’t approve of the huntress, she
\ndoes nothing actually for me
\nshe kills, she maims, she stirs their soul
\npurposely to take control
\nto cut them down to size and see
\nthem bleeding out unnaturally
\nthat no place for the a women to be
\nbut some do not agree with me<\/p>\n
they want to end the lives of those
\nwhose freedom really to expose
\nthemselves to wind and rain and sun
\ncreates a world and when its done
\nwhen they lie blood soaked and free
\nthat’s where women want to be
\npeering into sullen faces
\nthat they have put through their paces
\ngetting colder by the moment
