The most pitiful scene
\nperhaps there has ever been
\na starving child there on the ground
\ntoo weak to sit
\nso clearly unfit
\nand a vulture there too
\npound for pound<\/p>\n
the vulture is probably heavier
\nthe child just a small bag of bones
\ntears they just fall
\nfor this scene does appal
\nand nobody there to throw stones<\/p>\n
at the vulture
\none sees in one’s mind eye
\nanother group far far away
\nchildren are throwing food
\nat each other
\nits what they do how they play<\/p>\n
the world really is topsy turvy
\nsome have no food
\nsome too much
\nits sickening really how all this
\nplays out
\nand
\nwhy many are out of touch<\/p>\n
with reality in all its sadness
\nthat poor little soul
\nmay soon be
\nfood for the vulture
\nfor that is the culture
\nin Africa as we can see<\/p>\n
in America now
\nsome are homeless
\nbut some have so much
\nthey waste tons
\nfatter than ever
\nstarvation never
\nbut clearly really
\nout of touch<\/p>\n
they are fat diabetic
\nand all this is true
\nsugar and dairy
\nit does accrue
\nthey’ve taken the rap
\nwith it in their lap
\nand now don’t know what
\nto do<\/p>\n
they’ve cut and run recently
\nbut my god they
\nhave filled up their
\npockets and made us all pay
\nin one country we see starvation and more
\nin another the corporates waging a war<\/p>\n
on our children so bloated
\nso very unwell
\nsome are eaten by vultures
\nsome just sent to Hell
\nthe sugar the dairy
\nthe fat the GM
\nthe corporate monsters
