Its hard to get one’s head around
\nthis illogical and cruel stuff
\na 16 year old neighbour
\nmakes a poor cats life so tough
\nby tossing her into a fire
\nand watching as she burns
\npremeditated murder really
\nand it so concerns
\nany thinking individual
\nand innocent feline
\nwhat was going on inside his mind
\nthese young adults clearly consigned
\ntheir sanity to darker place
\na deluded uncontrollable space
\ndefective in so many ways
\nits the subnormal ace one plays<\/p>\n
here we see a sweet sweet soul
\nwith expectations to fulfil the role
\nof a loyal defender and kindly friend
\nimagine the shock that this may send
\nwaves that reverberate through the heart
\nI mean you wouldn’t know where to start
\nyou gave your love and they gave you back
\nthe most egregious and vile attack<\/p>\n
in the fire you burned
\nthe pain intense
\nyou tried to struggle
\nit made no sense
\nwhat could you do
\ncould you get away
\nyou managed somehow
\nbut how you did pay<\/p>\n
“Elizabeth” lay there
\nfrantically
\nsmouldering crying out
\nfor she
\nwas terribly burned
\nall her worst fears
\ncame down to earth
\nin each stream of tears<\/p>\n
left for dead
\nstill burning she
\nsank in the grass
\nand passed out a plea
\nshe silently screamed
\nshe was hopeful she
\nmight be saved somehow
\nor perhaps be free<\/p>\n
from this life and this pain
\nin collapsed state
\nclearly responsible for her fate
\nhopeful that she might still pull through
\nsucking in air the way you do
\npanting away and trying to rest
\ntrying to do what she thought was best<\/p>\n
then they found her
\nand took me to
\nthe hospital when I met you
\nthe angels they were they were gently souls
\nand those I met from then on
\ntheir roles
\nwere loving and caring and sharing with me
\na lot of tenderness they helped me free
\nthe confusion that I held inside
\nthat possibly I took in my stride<\/p>\n
that boy, that fiend that sick young creep
\nI wish they would put him to sleep
\nI felt like that for a while I did
\nsomehow he had made a bid
\nto take my life and roast me black
\nit was the nastiest vile attack<\/p>\n
and now I’m recovering its been a while
\nthat fire was hotter how it did rile
\nme I was angry I was so
\nI wanted him with me where ere I go
\nburning hot melting his skin
\nhe was monster with a great big grin
\nhe was touched by a demons breath
\nor was he bloody high on meth
\nhe stunk like a skunk
\nit seems to me
\nthat he seldom washed
\nand looked sickly<\/p>\n
I still remember the initial pain
\nthose vile sensations how they did drain
\nall my spirit and all my light
\nI could smell my aroma
\nthat dark night
\nI remember I shuddered I shivered
\nI shit
\nI couldn’t control just any bit
\nof my body I cried I pissed
\nI know
\nthat all through that night
\nI wanted so<\/p>\n
to leave this earth
\nto go away
\nwhere peace would reign
\nyes night and day
\nwhere I wouldn’t have to ever see
