Its a pity that the Dover port
\nfinds its is needful for
\nthe shipment of live animals
\nwith cruelty at their core
\n2000 or so per shipment
\nback out to Calais
\nand onward to wherever
\nreally makes it pay
\nshipments are not good at all
\nfor the animals to survive
\nthey really do need food and water
\nI mean they are alive
\nshipped on a river ferry
\nthe journey must be rough
\n3 hours of that then trailer
\nrides to Germany
\nits enough
\nand beyond in fact to Turkey
\nBritish tagged sheep are seen
\nit is a feat of torture
\nwhich is anything but green
\nDover I am surprised at you
\nblood money in your banks
\nshipment in tiny ferries
\nhonestly it ranks
\nas bad and dirty cargo
\nfor cargo it is called
\nthey do not call it live animals
\nreally they should be hauled
\nup before some criminal court
\nand made to realise
\nthat this trade is completely horrible
\nwhich comes as no surprise
\nprotesters are out in little groups
\nmaking their voices heard
\nbut few around there worry much
\nthey think its too absurd
\nits really and evil practice
\nlive animals shouldn’t be
