The arrogance of corporates
\nis well documented they
\nare entities where morality
\nis reworked and thus their way
\nforward is bound up in profit margins
\nfor the cause
\nits all about accruing wealth
\nand in that they never pause<\/p>\n
its the very bones
\nthat hold them up
\nits their skeleton in fact
\nand dabbling with creation
\nshows us they react
\nnot in the same way as we do
\nthey are so removed from where
\nmost of us are coming from
\nthey apparently don’t care<\/p>\n
so with this in mind
\nremember
\nocean creatures are
\namazingly resilient
\nthey have to be they are far
\nmore so than we humans
\nfor they live in a vast place
\nthe oceans all connected
\nand enjoy freedom and space<\/p>\n
so to steal them from that environment
\nand transfer them to a tank
\nis really adding debits
\nto their own great karma bank
\nthese creatures were created
\nnot to swim in their own soup
\nnot to balance trainers on their snouts
\nor leap a flaming hoop<\/p>\n
they are greater in experience
\nthan the corporate point of view
\nthat only deals with money
\nand will always try to screw
\nevery last cent out of
\nany deal that’s made
\nwhich isn’t that conducive
\nto their present stock in trade<\/p>\n
live souls like the great Orca’s
\nand the Dolphins need the sea
\ntransferring them to concrete tanks
\nhowever deep they be
\ncan never ever replace the ocean
\nits purely arrogance
\nto ever suggest the opposite
\nand so in the defence<\/p>\n
of the creature’s we must understand
\nhow remarkable they are
\nhow they undergo this stress
\nhowever it does scar
\nit hurts them it creates in them
\na miasma it must do
\nand this builds in them
\nuntil finally with their feelings so askew<\/p>\n
they give up they just fade away
\ntheir constancy is gone
\neverything they needed really where they shone
\nwas back in the deep ocean
\nand that of course was gone
\ntheir mortal thread was broken
\nthey just could not go on<\/p>\n
and the corporates found
\nmany have died
\nmany have passed away
\nhave given up the lust for life
\nand with their life did pay
\nand the corporate is sad of course
\nits a piece of stock thats lost
\nits life was their investment
\nand of course now it has cost<\/p>\n
but the more I see and listen
\nthe more I realise
\nthat the corporation doesn’t
\nthink about the souls demise
\nin the same way that the activist
\nor the animal lover does
\nits all about the balance sheet
\nand how they get a buzz<\/p>\n
35 Orca’s have given up
\nand Dolphins many more
\nthey just decided no more breaths
\nI mean to say what for
\nwhy go on breathing filthy
\nunclean soup in a small tank
\nno plants no nothing to stimulate
\nwhere everything is rank<\/p>\n
so why would Sea World want a float
\na carnival float at that
\nwell they want to promote their image
\nand that is where they are at
\nits marketing, its profit its
\nthe balance sheet its what
\nthe corporate is all about
\nthat how they got where they have got <\/p>\n
and now they are a ruling class
\nas powerful as can be
\nthey control the governments
\nyou only have to see
\nwho pays the fucking piper
\nits not us that’s for sure
\nthe corporate class are out there
\nmaking profit from the war<\/p>\n
Sea World is into the business
\nof entertainment and they are
\nin the world of marketing and their profits
\nwell they star
\nthey need to have a presence
\nin the 34th Street parade
\nwhether we think that morals or not
\nthe foundation stone is laid<\/p>\n
of course we are now looking
\nat the animals we share
\ntheir freedom to go where they please
\nif creation put them there
\nwho are we to take them who are we to try
\nand profit from their intelligence
\nand force them just to die<\/p>\n
of course its wrong of course its bad
\nthe voiceless get no say
\nthe activists are the terrorists
\nthe caring classes pay
\nthis is the world we are living in
\nis it life as it was before
\ndo we have the same freedoms
\nor do we fear the war<\/p>\n
the aggression the procession
\nthe obsession just to be
\nsuccessful in the world of banks
\nand commerce where we see
\npower that turns the heads of those
\nwho are so removed from life
\nbut who meddle with the fabric
\nand cause us all such strife<\/p>\n
whether its right
\nor whether its wrong
\nthe corporates will choose
\nthe path they are on the chosen few
\nthey bring us the news
\nmorally of course its wrong
\nbut karma’s on the case
\nand though we are now powerless
\nthe wider human race<\/p>\n
may suffer for its nonchalance
\nmay suffer terribly
\nbut when all is said and done
\nfriends
\nthey belong in the sea
\ndiscovering the deepening depths
\nthat’s is the place where they
\nshould be they should never leave the sea
