For me this is a difficult world
\nto think about
\nIts fraught with fear
\nwhen our shared wild life are
\nunder great risk from a forced extinction
\nour very being
\nwe readily now scar<\/p>\n
every stretch of land
\nin every country
\nthe planet’s being eaten up
\nby greed
\nand so to think that hunting
\ncan be pleasure
\nis increasing in some quarters
\nand does lead<\/p>\n
me into a quandary in my thinking
\nto go out and kill wild animals
\nis wrong
\nand it is arrogance personified
\nand to set it into motion
\nand be part of the actual hunting throng
\nits terribly short sighted and
\nquite tragic
\nand so I felt the need
\nto just express
\nmy sadness and my absolute disappointment
\nas to why some want to create all this stress<\/p>\n
the wild souls are now struggling
\nat this moment
\nthe jungle kings their jungle being lost
\nevery inch of countryside
\nis being re created
\nthe human being really is the cost
\nto want to replace wild and natural landscapes
\nand manipulate and manage everything
\ncanned hunting trophy hunting
\nits big business
\nthere’s money to be made
\nnow from the King<\/p>\n
The Lion and many other species
\noffered
\nwild game safari’s blossom
\nand we see
\nthe lurid world of paid assasinations
\ntaking place around the world
\nthey be
\nsupplying victims to be shot by
\nhunters
\nby people wanting a sort of guarantee
\nthey want to bag whatever not because they are clever
\nbut its laid out in a package
\nand they be<\/p>\n
amongst those people who believe
\nthat killing
\nis right
\nwhatever animal, they know
\nthey pay the price and will then be presented
\nwith what ever they can afford
\nits one big show<\/p>\n
compassion that is just not on the menu
\nits x costs x and if you can afford
\nthe price then you can kill just any animal
\nwhatever a clean shot is your reward
\nsenseless killing and for what
\nit really is insane
\nanimals were created for a reason
\nand its wasn’t to be shot with such disdain<\/p>\n
they have lives and they have families
\nand they have reasons
\nto be alive to share the wilds, for they
\nare not slaves to a system
\nthey are not and never should be
\nwe have no right to kill them if we pay<\/p>\n
someone else who adopts the right
\nto be the one
\nwho decides who dies and who lives
\nlife is being unravelled in the sun
\npsycopathic tendencies attracted
\nto the scene
\nand profiting from the victims deaths
\nits absolutely mean
\nwe have no right on this earth now
\nto feel that this can be right
\nits beyond the pail of reasoning
\nand all of this in spite
\nof the rapidly dwindling numbers
\nour children probably
\nwill not be able to see
\nlive souls wandering naturally<\/p>\n
That conservatories and game parks
\nare out there seems to me
\nand that hunting is an all action break
\nand the perfect holiday
\nand that women even take it up
\nand slaughter as they do
\ncreates in me a miasma
\nthat cuts me into two<\/p>\n
I can not for the life of me
\nunderstand now why
\nanyone would be happy
\nto see another die
\nto aim whatever. rifle or bow
\nand watch them in great pain
\nfall down heavily on their knees
\njust how can we gain<\/p>\n
anything from such an act
\nits evil through and through
\nto end a life created by
\nsomeone other than you
\nsome much higher authority
\npart of the biosphere
\nand we come along and we pay our cash
\nand present great shards of fear
\nwe send it through the bushveld
\nto startle and to show
\nthat man un kind and women un kind
\nhave arrived and all best know<\/p>\n
life can end whenever
\nthe human doth decide
\nwhatever they can pay for
\nnothing left can hide
\nits paid assasination
\nits entertainment for
\nthe mindless uncaring thoughtless greedy
\ntrolls most would ignore <\/p>\n
I see this women seated
\nand this majestic Lion whose eyes
\nwere recently observing life
\nI hear the many cries
\nthe thunderous roar of others
\nwhose hearts are broken too
\nand all because some women
\nmisjudged what she should do
\nshe murdered this magnificent Lion
\nand doesn’t she look just great
\nher victim looks so peaceful
\none could say sedate
\nbut what she’s done is murder
\nthe King, and proves to me
\nthat she is a heartless monster
