\nthat indifference certainly
\nwas as important as neglect
\nand I must say I agree
\nthe bulk of people
\nsay that they love animals
\nbut they
\neat them, mistreat them
\nneglect them and often
\nmake them pay
\na high price for their existence
\nits a lack of attention too
\na lack of care
\nwe dont want to share
\nand do not to have a clue<\/p>\n
they can be sick and dying
\nneglected on the street
\nwe just walk passed
\nnot noticing we may kick
\nthem with our feet
\nthats the complete indifference
\nwe can show to these souls
\nwhich leaves them full of sorrow
\nand very often poles<\/p>\n
apart from us they fret a lot
\nand, we don’t know why
\nthey just need some attention
\na pat may be,they rely
\non that contact for their confirmation
\nthat we love them, and
\nwhen we do not give it
\nthey cannot understand<\/p>\n
they may pine away
\nunfortunately
\nlost without our touch
\nsome of us can’t realise
\nits our power that they love so much<\/p>\n
and so they lay a panting maybe
\nlost souls in a way
\nreally feeling unloved
\nwhich, just tends to play
\ninto the heartache many feel
\nthose quiet hours on their alone
\nindifference to the plight of those
