B&K an American firm wants to build
\nin Yorkshire
\naims to open a Beagle Farm
\nand flog its dogs to those
\nresearch Labs in Universities
\nits for experimentation
\nthe arrogance is highter up the ladder
\nand it shows<\/p>\n
the audacity of re applying
\nfor this local planning
\nlast year they were turned down
\nbut back they come again
\nits wicked that firms do this
\nto Beagles, of all breeds
\ncausing them such anguish
\nand a lot of fear and pain<\/p>\n
Experiments are frightening
\nwe should not still be doing them
\nit isn’t right and nobody should
\nfeel that we allow
\nthis to happen anywhere
\nlet alone in Yorkshire
\nto my mind it is evil
\nand so I dont know how<\/p>\n
they broach this subject yet again
\nand think the planners will
\nthis time just accept their argument
\ntheir bitter pill
\nis likely to cause colic
\nfor to me its so unfair
\nthe dogs are strong and cheerful
\nand I hope they never will<\/p>\n
give in to these vile corporates
\nwho torture day and night
\nbehind closed doors the carry out
\nthings that are not right
\nexperiments so others can
\ninclude the tests abroad
\nto me its simple cruelty
\nwhich no one should afford<\/p>\n
My advice to the planners
\nis ban this right a way
\nand make it clear that Yorkshire
\nhas had the final say
\ngo back to America
\nand do their new research
\nas for Britain we believe
\nthat such planning would besmirch<\/p>\n
our character and fairness
\nfor other species who
\nhave a right to not be
\nexperimented on, who do
\nnot expect this evil
\nto take place anywhere
\nespecially not in Yorshire
